Abstract: New organopolysiloxane masses cross-linkable into elastomers by radical formation containing (1) high-viscosity diorganopolysiloxanes with a value equal to at least 3000 Nm, (2) low-viscosity vinyl-containing organopolysiloxanes having 20 to 1.10.sup.6 mPa.multidot.s at 25.degree. C. consisting of siloxane units (M units) having the formulae R.sup.1 R.sub.2 SiO.sub.1/2 and/or R.sub.3 SiO.sub.1/2, of siloxane units (D units) having the formulae R.sup.1 RSiO and/or R.sub.2 SiO and optionally HRSiO, and of siloxane units (T or Q units) having the formulas RSiO.sub.3/2 and/or R.sub.1 SiO.sub.3/2 and/or SiO.sub.2, in which R stands for a monovalent, possibly substituted hydrocarbon residue with 1 to 18 hydrocarbon atoms and R.sub.1 stands for a vinyl residue, provided that the organopolysiloxanes contain at least 1.0% by weight Si-bound vinyl groups; as well as (3) fillers.

Abstract: Aqueous emulsions comprising(1) an organopolysiloxane with SiC-attached vinyl groups in the terminal units,(2) an organopolysiloxane with at least 3 Si-attached hydrogen atoms,(3) a catalyst promoting the addition of Si-attached hydrogen to aliphatic multiple bonds,(4) an organosilicon adhesion promoter,(5) a silicone resin,(6) an emulsifier and(7) water.

Abstract: The present invention relates to storage-stable polysiloxane compositions which give permanently water-wettable elastomers. The polysiloxane compositions of the present invention which vulcanize to yield elastomers are useful as dental impression compositions.

Abstract: The description relates to novel organo(poly)siloxanes of the general formula (I): (R.sup.1 O).sub.a HSiR.sub.2-a O[SiR .sub.2 O].sub.n SiR.sub.2 R.sup.2, in which R and R.sup.2 are the same or different and represent a monovalent, possibly substituted hydrocarbon radical; R.sup.1 is the same or different and represents a monovalent, possibly substituted hydrocarbon radical; n is a whole number of at least 2; and a is 1 or 2. The organo(poly)siloxanes are used as additives in materials which can be cross-linked to form organopolysiloxane elastomers.

Abstract: Disclosed are organopolysiloxane preparations containing: A) units of the formula (I): (R.sup.1 O).sub.a SiHR.sup.2.sub.2-a O1/2, in which R.sup.1 and R.sup.2, which may be the same or different, are each, independently of each other, an optionally substituted monovalent hydrocarbon group and a is 1 or 2, B) siloxane units which can be cross-linked by irradiating and, optionally, C) siloxane units acting as photo-initiators. These preparations are useful for the production of coatings.

Abstract: Organo(poly)siloxanes with siloxane units at the end of the chain having organyloxy and hydrogen groups are disclosed as well as a process for producing the same by reacting .alpha.,w-dihydroxyorgan(poly)siloxanes with silanes having a group that can be easily separated and their use in organo(poly)siloxane mixtures that can be stored in the absence of water but which can be cross-linked into elastomers at ambient temperature in the presence of water. Also, a process is disclosed for producing organopolysiloxane elastomers by cross-linking cross-linkable mixtures by addition of Si-linked hydrogen to SiC-linked residues with aliphatic carbon-carbon multiple linkage.
