    Abstract: A tensioning assembly for a process valve is provided, including a housing having an interface for rigid connection to a valve body, a drive which is arranged so as to be fixed to the housing, a gearing supported on the housing and driven by the drive, and a tensioning element arranged on the output of the gearing, wherein the tensioning element includes a contact surface which is designed to clamp a lateral outer collar of a diaphragm of the process valve between the tensioning element and the valve body.
