  • Publication number: 20180023824
Abstract: A long-range nozzle for introducing air into a room comprising a nozzle body (1) opening in a nozzle opening (13) is described. In order to enable an advantageous air moistening, it is proposed that the nozzle opening (13) is surrounded by a coaxial crown of atomizer nozzles (8) which are connected to an annular channel (9) to which pressurized liquid can be applied.

  • Publication number: 20170248334
Abstract: An apparatus for humidifying air in an air duct The invention relates to an apparatus for humidifying air in an air duct (1), comprising a feeding device for a liquid mist (10) and an air conducting device located upstream of the feeding device in the direction of flow (2). In order to provide advantageous humidifying conditions it is proposed that the air conducting device comprises at least one wing (7) which extends transversely to the direction of flow (2) and has an airfoil profile which is pitched against the direction of flow (2).

  • Publication number: 20140214340
Abstract: An apparatus and a method for detecting at least one periodically occurring defect on an object, in particular on a metal strip, in which at least one time signal is recorded from the moving object using a measuring method, the time signal is converted into a quality function using a stochastic method and one or more periodic signals in the time signal are inferred on the basis of this quality function in order to thereby detect at least one periodically occurring defect on the object. In order to obtain advantageous method properties, it is proposed to convert the time signal recorded by means of the measuring method, in particular the electromagnetic measuring method, into the quality function using a model-based estimation method, in particular using a maximum likelihood method.
