Patent number: 9584104Abstract: A semiconductor device comprising a substrate and an electronic circuit thereon is described. The electronic circuit comprises a first voltage provider node, a second voltage provider node, and an intermediary node connected to the first and second voltage provider node by a first and second network with a first and second resistance, respectively. The substrate is susceptible to conducting a substrate current. The semiconductor device further comprises a substrate current sensor. The first network is arranged to reduce the first resistance in response to the substrate current sensor signaling an increase of the substrate current and vice versa. Similarly, the second network is arranged to reduce the second resistance in response to the substrate current sensor signaling an increase of the substrate current and vice versa. A method of operating a semiconductor device is also disclosed.Type: GrantFiled: March 15, 2014Date of Patent: February 28, 2017Assignee: NXP USA, Inc.Inventors: Hubert Bode, Mathieu Gauthier Lesbats, Andreas Johann Roth

Publication number: 20160330909Abstract: This pick-up apparatus for picking up harvested root crop defines a pick-up plane PP and comprises a pick-up section. The pick-up section comprises a pick-up member adapted to pick up the root crop, and a cleaning member. The pick-up member defines a pick-up position with respect to the pick-up plane PP. The pick-up apparatus comprises a cleaning adjustment device adapted to adjust the position of the cleaning member between at least two cleaning positions, the cleaning positions being different one from another. In each of the cleaning positions of the cleaning member and while the pick-up member is in the pick-up position, the distance DC1 of the cleaning member with respect to the pick-up plane PP is different from the distance DC2 of the cleaning member with respect to the pick-up plane PP in the other cleaning position.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 13, 2016Publication date: November 17, 2016Inventors: Andreas ERL, Johann ROTH

Publication number: 20150260766Abstract: A semiconductor device, comprising a substrate and an electronic circuit formed thereon is described. The substrate is susceptible to conducting a substrate current. The semiconductor device further comprises a substrate current sensor, which comprises a sensing line for sensing the potential at a charge collecting region; a supply node; and a current source connected between the supply node and the charge collecting region. The current source is arranged to inject a stationary current into the charge collecting region when the potential at the charge collecting region is below the supply potential. The sensing line comprises a monoflop, which is arranged to assume an unstable state when the potential at its input has exceeded a threshold and to return to a stable state when the potential at its input has remained below the threshold for at least a time period.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 15, 2014Publication date: September 17, 2015Applicant: FREESCALE SEMICONDUCTOR, INC.Inventors: HUBERT BODE, MATHIEU GAUTHIER LESBATS, ANDREAS JOHANN ROTH

Patent number: 4511076Abstract: In a contact device having at least first and second contact surfaces which may be placed in electrically conducting contact with one another, that improvement which includes a solder-repellent and self-lubricating casing material applied to at least one of said contact surfaces. The solder-repellent contact surface also serves as a stop-off when soldering component leads to terminals of a printed circuit board.Type: GrantFiled: May 23, 1984Date of Patent: April 16, 1985Assignee: Braun AktiengesellschaftInventor: Johann Roth

Patent number: 3958872Abstract: A motion picture camera of the type having an electrically magnetically operated release. The electric circuit includes a drive circuit and a release circuit as well as a signal circuit connected between the drive circuit and the release circuit. The drive circuit includes an electric motor for driving the film and a normally open drive switch all connected in series with the current source. The release circuit includes a release magnet having an armature and an exciting coil. The armature operates a normally open release switch for closing it upon energization of the exciting coil. The release switch and exciter coil are connected in series with the source. Finally, the signal circuit includes an electro-optic indicator such as an incandescent lamp or light-emitting diode connected in parallel with the exciter coil of the magnet and in series with the motor. As a result, the indicator lights up upon closing of the release switch to produce a light mark on the film before the motor begins to drive the film.Type: GrantFiled: October 7, 1974Date of Patent: May 25, 1976Assignee: Braun AktiengesellschaftInventor: Johann Roth
