Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of arrangements and methods by a mobile transceiver. The invention solves the problem of how to obtain a mobile telephone terminal (21) with a lid (25) and a corresponding function with automatic reception of an incoming call when the lid (25) is opened, such as a mobile telephone terminal with an active lid, where also such services are to become available that need access to a keypad (29) covered by the lid (25) and which allows a user to handle the incoming call in other ways than only receiving the call. The problem is solved in that the mobile telephone terminal (21) comprises means (41) that enable the user on demand to deactivate the automatic reception of the incoming call.

Abstract: The present invention comprises a method and means for setting a personal communication station into a selected operational mode, which comprises a pre-selected subset of operational settings within a superset of operational settings. The station is capable of communicating in at least one communication network. The method includes a sequence of steps, which begins with initiating the station (301). A first prompting message is then presented (302) to the user who is then requested to respond to the prompting message. The accessory unit (5, 25a) is connected to the user unit (1, 21), and a menu selection code (MCODE) is sent from the accessory unit (5, 25a) to the menu storage unit (3, 23) in the user unit (1, 21). A standard menu (SM1), which corresponds to the menu selection code (MCODE), is pointed out in the menu storage unit (3, 23). The pointed out standard menu (SM1) is adapted to a user menu (AM1) corresponding to the menu selection code (MCODE), and the user menu (AM1) is activated in the display (2, 22).
