  • Publication number: 20170204276
Abstract: A composition is described, which contains a binder on the basis of a compound having low-electron multiple carbon bonds and a carbanion-forming compound. By means of the composition according to the invention, coatings having the layer thickness required for the respective fire-resistance duration can be applied in simple and fast manner, wherein the layer thickness can be reduced to a minimum and nevertheless, a good fire-proofing effect can be achieved. The composition according to the invention is particularly suitable for fire-proofing, particularly as a coating for cables and cable runs, to increase their fire-resistance period.

  • Publication number: 20160083593
Abstract: An intumescent composition is described which contains a binder based on polyurea. Using the composition, which has a relatively high rate of expansion, it is possible to easily and quickly apply coatings at the layer thickness required for the specific fire resistance duration, wherein the layer thickness can be reduced to a minimum yet still reach a high insulating value. The composition is particularly suitable for fire protection, particularly as a coating for metallic and non-metallic substrates such as steel components including columns, beams, or truss rods for the purpose of increasing fire resistance time.

  • Publication number: 20150337160
Abstract: An insulating layer-forming composition, which contains an epoxy thiol-ene based binding agent is provided. The composition, the expansion rate of which is relatively high, enables coatings to be applied in the layer thickness required for the fire-resistance time concerned in a simple and rapid manner, wherein the layer thickness can be reduced to a minimum and a high insulating effect can still be achieved. The composition is especially suitable for fire protection control, more particularly as a coating of metallic and non-metallic substrates, for example steel components such as pillars, supports or frame members, for increasing the fire-resistance time.

  • Publication number: 20140224424
Abstract: The use of a mixture of 5-pyrimidinol derivatives with sterically hindered phenol derivatives for adjusting the reactivity and the gel time of resin mixtures and reactive resin mortars based on radically polymerizable compounds is described. Furthermore, a resin mixture containing the inhibitor combination, a reactive resin mortar containing this resin mixture and two-component mortar systems with the reactive resin mortar according to the invention and a hardener with improved stability in storage and good low-temperature hardening properties are also described. The resin mixture according to the invention is suitable in particular for chemical fastening of construction elements in boreholes in various substrates.
