  • Patent number: 7740201
Abstract: The invention relates to floor heating for an aircraft which has a floor (20) made up of heatable panels (18). In order to be able to heat up the panels (18) in an energy-saving way, the same are provided with hollow chambers (26) which pass through them, wherein a feed line (28) for warm waste air originating from the cooling of the aircraft's electronic equipment which is connected to the first hollow chambers (26), conveys hot air to the first hollow chambers (26) when the floor heating system is in operation.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 30, 2004
Date of Patent: June 22, 2010
    Assignee: Airbus Deutschland GmbH
Inventors: Johannes Eichholz, Johannes Bruns, Philipp Autenrieth

  • Patent number: 7214015
Abstract: A freight lashing channel (18) for a transport conveyance is constructed for mounting a plurality of spaced lashing devices (10) in the channel. Each lashing device (10) has a base (14) and a bail (11) journalled to the base (14). The bail takes up a recessed position within the lashing channel (18) or a working position out of the channel. In the recessed position the channel (18) is closed by a cover plate formed with a load mounting rail (33) for a rapid change-over from a freight lashing function to a seat mounting function. The lashing channel is either a separate unit or it is integrated into a floor panel or it is formed between two floor panel sections. Reinforcing load take-up elements (30) are mounted within the channel between neighboring lashing devices.

  • Patent number: 7086815
Abstract: A lashing device having a base and a lashing bail journaled to the base is constructed for attachment to a lashing channel mounted on or in a loading floor of a transport conveyance such as an aircraft. The base includes a socket for mounting an interconnecting element to the lashing device when the lashing bail is tilted into an inoperative position. Thus, the switch-over between using the latching bail or the interconnecting element or vice versa is quickly accomplished.
