  • Patent number: 6096682
Abstract: For the production of a catalyst body for the catalytic treatment of gas, in particular for the purification of exhaust gas, flat and corrugated sheet metal members having a metallic core and coatings are formed, which coatings comprise a nonmetallic wash coat and at least one catalytically active noble metal. A packet comprising sheet metal members having coatings is then arranged between two walls of a sleeve. Thereafter, each edge of each sheet metal member, which edge faces one of the two walls, is welded to the relevant wall in at least one edge segment. The sheet metal members adjacent to one another then together bound passages for the exhaust gas. This production process makes it possible, even in the case of small cross-sectional dimensions of the passages, to apply uniform coatings to the entire surfaces of the sheet metal members, said surfaces bounding the passages.

  • Patent number: 5588607
Abstract: A magnetic-tape player has a drive arrangement for winding a tape between two reel hubs. The drive arrangement can drive both reel hubs with different transmission ratios by a motor and four transmission devices. The drive arrangement is controlled entirely by a cam disc capable of counterclockwise rotation.

  • Patent number: 4451862
Abstract: A tape recorder or player with automatic azimuth control, utilizing a single pieozoelectric element inside the head's magnetic shield. A bimorph has one end rigidly connected to the head and the other end rigidly connected to the head support, for pivoting the head about an axis in line with the head gap.

  • Patent number: 4353226
Abstract: An adjustable torsion-spring slipping clutch, especially useful for tape recorders, having first and second coaxial clutch sections which are rotatable about an axis of rotation. The second clutch section includes a sleeve which has a substantially circular cylindrical shape and is adjustable in diameter. A coaxially arranged cylindrical helical torsion spring is connected to one end to the first clutch section and its turns are wrapped around the sleeve, adjustment of sleeve diameter determining the torque to be transmitted between the clutch sections.

  • Patent number: 4198665
Abstract: A cassette holder for Compact Cassettes, which is pivotable about a pivoting axis and intended for a vertical cassette recorder, is provided with stop means in order to avoid an incorrect position of the cassette, the openings in the front of the cassette, for the passage of the magnetic heads and the pressure roller, not being oriented towards the pivoting axis of the cassette holder but towards the insertion opening. In the cassette holder guide ridges are provided which co-operate with the cassette near its side walls and beside the locally thickened portion in the cassette, in such a way that during insertion the cassette is tilted from an oblique position to a straighter position, the top edge of the cassette holder butting against the locally thickened portion of the cassette in the case of an incorrectly inserted cassette.
