  • Publication number: 20140144288
Abstract: A drive-train of a vehicle with a hybrid drive comprising an internal combustion engine and an electric machine and an automated group transmission connected between the hybrid drive and a drive axle. The transmission comprises a main transmission having a main shaft, countershafts, and a splitter group connected up upstream from the main transmission. The electric machine is connected to the countershafts. The splitter group and the main transmission have a common direct gear which is engaged by a clutch to support traction force shifting of the main transmission. The clutch connects a transmission input shaft to the main transmission shaft to form the direct gear. While the direct gear is engaged, the connections of the transmission input shaft and the main transmission shaft to the countershaft and the electric machine are separated.

  • Publication number: 20130239926
Abstract: A drive-train of a motor vehicle, with a drive aggregate comprising at least an internal combustion engine (1), a transmission (3) connected between the internal combustion engine (1) and the drive output (2), and a starting clutch (4) connected between the internal combustion engine (1) and the transmission (3). The drive aggregate also has a shiftable by-pass transmission (5) arranged parallel to the starting clutch (4) which has at least one gear step (6), and an auxiliary clutch (7). In order to reduce the speed of the internal combustion engine (1), during overrun operation of the drive-train, the auxiliary clutch (7) is engaged and the starting clutch (4) is at least partially disengaged.

  • Publication number: 20120115675
Abstract: A method of controlling a drive-train of a motor vehicle, which comprises an internal combustion engine with a driveshaft, an electric machine in driving connection with the driveshaft of the internal combustion engine, a semi-automatic transmission with an input shaft and a plurality of gears that can be engaged selectively, and an automated friction clutch arranged between the driveshaft of the internal combustion engine and the input shaft of the transmission, such that a gearshift of the transmission occurs in combination with suitable control of the internal combustion engine while the friction clutch is at least partially and/or briefly engaged. To speed up the shifting process and to attenuate torque and speed surges during the shifting process, the electric machine is operated briefly as a generator and/or as a motor.
