Patent number: 7654416Abstract: In accordance with the present invention there is provided a dispenser apparatus for dispensing fluids. The dispenser apparatus includes a centrally located vertically mounted column assembly. A plurality of canisters is cantilever mounted to the column assembly. Each canister has a receptacle for holding a fluid and each receptacle includes a corresponding pump for dispensing fluid held therein. The dispenser apparatus also includes a stationary dispensing station having a mechanism for selectively actuating the pump for dispensing fluid held in the receptacle. A mechanism is also provided for engaging a portion of a canister to align a pump corresponding to a receptacle to the stationary dispensing station, wherein the fluid held in the receptacle may be dispensed.Type: GrantFiled: March 22, 2006Date of Patent: February 2, 2010Assignee: Stibbe Management BVInventors: Eric Buining, Wilhelmus Quirinus Laurentinus van Westerop, Leen Hellenberg, Johannes Hendrikus Mink

Patent number: 7597217Abstract: In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention there is provided a pump assembly used in connection with metering and dispensing fluid. The assembly includes a valve mechanism that has a first valve disc with a first opening in fluid communication with a fluid inlet of the pump assembly and with a second opening in fluid communication with an interior portion of the pump assembly. The valve mechanism also has a second valve disc with a dispensing opening and an inlet channel. The first and second valve discs are also rotatable with respect to each other between at least a dispensing position in which the second opening and the dispensing opening are aligned making dispensing of fluid possible and at least an inlet position in which the inlet channel brings the first opening in fluid communication with the second opening so that the interior portion of the pump assembly is in fluid communication with the fluid inlet of said pump assembly.Type: GrantFiled: June 30, 2006Date of Patent: October 6, 2009Assignee: Lenteq, LPInventors: Johannes Hendrikus Mink, Wilhelmus Quirinus Laurentinus van Westerop, Renautus Petrus Cornelis Neeuwisse, Leen Hellenberg, Eric Buining, Adriaan Kuipers

Patent number: 7185789Abstract: In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention there is provided a dispenser apparatus for dispensing fluids. The dispenser apparatus includes a rotatable table, a plurality of dispensing units. Each dispensing unit has a receptacle for holding a fluid, and each receptacle includes a corresponding pump for dispensing fluid held therein. The dispensing units have a base portion to detachably attach the units to the rotatable table. The dispenser apparatus further includes a stationary dispensing station that has a pump actuator for dispensing fluid held in the receptacle. The apparatus further includes a mechanism for engaging the base portion of a dispensing unit. The mechanism when activated, moves the dispensing units thus rotating the table to align a pump corresponding to a receptacle to the stationary dispensing station, wherein fluid held in the receptacle may be dispensed.Type: GrantFiled: July 12, 2006Date of Patent: March 6, 2007Assignee: Lenteq, LPInventors: Johannes Hendrikus Mink, Wilhelmus Quirinus Laurentinus van Westerop, Renautus Petrus Cornelis Meeuwisse, Leen Hellenberg, Eric Buining, Adriaan Kuipers

Patent number: 7121430Abstract: In accordance with the present invention there is provided novel and unique automatic and manual colorant and hair dye dispensers that are easy to operate and provides precision mixing of a large number of colorants and hair dye to make an almost infinite number of colors. The machines are relatively light in weight, easy to operate and maintain and the various components can be readily and easily replaced. In the colorant dispenser this is principally due to the fact that the colorant canisters are supported by a central column and the conventional use of a massive turntable supporting the canisters have been eliminated. In both the automatic and manual illustrated embodiments there is shown six (6) pie-shaped triangular canister units (dispensing units) each including three (3) separate colorant receptacles. There can be more or less dispensing units as desired.Type: GrantFiled: February 25, 2005Date of Patent: October 17, 2006Assignee: Lentep, LPInventors: Johannes Hendrikus Mink, Wilhelmus Quirinus Laurentinus van Westerop, Renautus Petrus Cornelis Meeuwisse, Leen Hellenberg, Eric Beuning, Ad Kuljpers

Patent number: 6003731Abstract: An apparatus for dispensing viscous fluids includes a turntable that is rotatable about an axis of rotation. The apparatus is connected to a plurality of containers that contain fluid to be dispensed. The containers are mounted to the turntable in a spaced relationship about the circumference of the turntable. The turntable is also connected to a plurality of pumps, one pump associated with each container. The pumps include connectors that are releasably connected to the containers and that facilitate the removal of an empty container for replacement with a full container. The apparatus also includes an actuator that facilitates the removal of an empty container. The pumps are preferably disposed on an opposing side of the turntable from the containers. The apparatus also includes a plurality of rollers disposed at the outer circumference of the turntable for supporting the turntable in the radial and axial directions.Type: GrantFiled: October 7, 1998Date of Patent: December 21, 1999Assignee: Fluid ManagementInventors: Johannes Hermanus Nicolaas Post, Michiel Jacobus Johannes Langeveld, Johannes Hendrikus Mink

Patent number: 5992691Abstract: A dispensing system for dispensing viscous fluids from flexible packages is provided. The flexible package is connected to a pump by way of a conduit. A buffer system may be provided which results in an emptying of the flexible package of fluid first prior to the emptying of the buffer system. A valve may be provided to isolate the flexible package thereby enabling the flexible package to be removed and replaced with a full package while the pump continues to draw fluid out of the buffer system. Accordingly, the flexible package of fluid may be replaced without interruption of the dispenser. A self-cleaning closure for the outlet to the dispenser may be provided to keep the outlet clean.Type: GrantFiled: July 7, 1997Date of Patent: November 30, 1999Assignee: Fluid ManagementInventors: Johannes Hermanus Nicolaas Post, Michiel Jacobus Johannes Langeveld, Johannes Hendrikus Mink
