Publication number: 20240123894Abstract: The invention relates to a public transport vehicle comprising at least one unit for the flexible transport of passengers and/or freight. According to the invention at least one outer side wall of the unit has multiple adjacent doors, that also form the outer side wall of the vehicle along the length of the vehicle, where when the unit is used for freight transport all doors can open to provide a wide entry opening for loading and unloading freight and when used for passenger transport one or more of the doors remain permanently closed and at least one door can be opened. The inventive vehicle uses a complete outer side wall of the unit as entry and exit possibility. When the unit is meant for transporting freight, all doors in the side wall can open to provide an opening as wide as the length of a unit. The whole space of the unit is than accessible for freight.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 24, 2022Publication date: April 18, 2024Inventors: Marc Hubert Kerkhofs, Johannes Gertrudis Josephus VAN DER DONK

Publication number: 20240112301Abstract: Images of an undercarriage of a vehicle may be captured via one or more cameras. A point cloud may be determined based on the images. The point cloud may includes points positioned in a virtual three-dimensional space. A stitched image may be determined based on the point cloud by projecting the point cloud onto a virtual camera view.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 6, 2023Publication date: April 4, 2024Applicant: Fyusion, Inc.Inventors: Stefan Johannes Josef Holzer, Krunal Ketan Chande, Matteo Munaro, Pavel Hanchar, Aidas Liaudanskas, Wook Yeon Hwang, Johan Nordin, Milos Vlaski, Martin Markus Hubert Wawro, Nick Stetco, Martin Saelzle

Patent number: 11290881Abstract: A method for functionally secure connection identification during data exchange between two communication subscribers in a communication system, wherein a first subscriber operates as a data provider with a first address identifier and a second subscriber operates as a data requester with a second address identifier, wherein in a request of safety-related data of the first subscriber in a request message, the second subscriber transmits an order number of the data request and its second address identifier and the first subscriber responds with a response message, the second subscriber subsequently checking to determine whether this message contains (i) a second address identifier of the requesting second subscriber, (ii) an order number of the request message of the second subscriber and (iii) the first address identifier of the requested first subscriber, in the event all checking steps are positive, the safety-related data being accepted and otherwise discarded.Type: GrantFiled: May 14, 2019Date of Patent: March 29, 2022Assignee: Siemens AktiengesellschaftInventors: Johannes Hubert, Thomas Markus Meyer, Ulrich Taschke, Herbert Barthel, Maximilian Walter

Patent number: 11063680Abstract: A method for functionally secure connection identification for data exchange via a telegram between a source data service and a sink data service, wherein whether the time stamp of an incoming telegram is older than the time stamp of a predecessor telegram is determined, upon receipt of the predecessor telegram a monitoring counter being started and whether the currently incoming telegram has arrived within a monitoring time is additionally determined, where a local time stamp of a local time basis is compared with the associated time stamp of the incoming telegram and whether a comparison difference does not exceed a period of time is determined, a telegram arriving only being accepted as valid if the time stamp of the arriving telegram is greater than the time stamp of the telegram most recently accepted as valid, and data is valid if the checks are positive, otherwise a fail-safe reaction is triggered.Type: GrantFiled: November 19, 2019Date of Patent: July 13, 2021Assignee: Siemens AktiengesellschaftInventors: Johannes Hubert, Thomas Markus Meyer, Herbert Barthel, Maximilian Walter

Patent number: 10979177Abstract: System and method for identifying data corruption in a data transfer over an error-proof communication link, wherein additional structure checksums are formed to secure a data structure during transfer of the data structure, where representatives are associated with the data types, and the structure checksum is formed via the representatives to provide identification of data corruption in a data transfer over an error-proof communication link between a first automation component and a second automation component in industrial control engineering.Type: GrantFiled: April 4, 2019Date of Patent: April 13, 2021Assignee: Siemens AktiengesellschaftInventors: Johannes Hubert, Marcus Lorentschk, Thomas Markus Meyer, Ales Gjerkes, Nico Michaelis, Christoph Scherr, Reinhard Watzenig
