  • Publication number: 20250195626
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a polypeptide for use in treating pain or an inflammatory disorder, wherein the polypeptide comprises a clostridial neurotoxin light-chain (L-chain), a clostridial neurotoxin translocation domain (HN domain) and/or a clostridial neurotoxin receptor binding domain (HC domain), wherein when the polypeptide comprises a clostridial neurotoxin L-chain, the L-chain is catalytically inactive. Also provided are corresponding methods of treatment and uses.

  • Publication number: 20240016718
Abstract: The present invention relates to the treatment of skin conditions with neurotoxins, and non-therapeutic uses for cosmetic treatment of the skin. Administration of the neurotoxin induces secretion of one or more sebaceous lipid(s) selected from a squalene, a fatty acid, a cholesterol, and a wax ester to an epidermal layer of skin.

  • Publication number: 20210350006
Abstract: The disclosed computer-implemented method for identifying software vulnerabilities in embedded device firmware may include (i) collecting a firmware image for an Internet-of-Things device, (ii) extracting library dependencies from the firmware image for the Internet-of-Things device, (iii) identifying a true version of a library specified in the firmware image by checking a ground truth database that records confirmed values for true versions for previously encountered libraries, and (iv) performing a security action to protect a user from a security risk based on identifying the true version of the library specified in the firmware image. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20010051999
Abstract: In the prior art, broadband terminals are supplied to the Internet via an associated router. Incorporated between the router and the Internet are selection servers for selecting services (Service Selection) which are used to handle the entire traffic for the Internet. A problem with this is that the selection server is configured in the communication path to the Internet, which means that the dynamics of access are reduced. The invention provides a remedy for this by arranging the selection server parallel to the router, which removes it from the path between the router and the Internet.
