    Abstract: A frame system for fixing a panel, in particular a solar panel, to the ground and oriented at an angle of 5-70 degrees to the horizontal plane. The frame system includes a front end, a rear end, a panel frame for holding the panel and provided with at least one rear support element. The rear support element at one end thereof is hingingly attached at or near the rear end to the panel frame to allow the rear support element to be folded against or in plane with the panel frame and at its other end that includes attachment provisions configured to attach the rear support element to the ground.
