Abstract: Systems and methods for providing direction guidance to a traveler navigating off-road are disclosed. In some embodiments, different modes of direction guidance are provided depending on a deviation distance from a pre-recorded, off-road track. A pre-recorded track can be generated from an ordered list of locations. A real-time deviation distance between the traveler and the track can be determined. Based at least in part on the real-time deviation distance, the system determines whether the traveler is on track. If the traveler has deviated, the system may provide direction guidance toward a location where the traveler deviated from the track. The system may determine that the traveler has deviated too far from the track and provide direction guidance toward a closest point on the track. The system can display direction guidance on a vehicle-mounted display and/or on a mobile device.

At least one address resolution request (ARP) is sent over the network. A response to the ARP requests is awaited during a pre-defined timeout. In case no response is received from the network, the selected address is used to configure the node of the network. According to the invention, this ZeroConf process is adapted to a network topology and link layer technology. Thereby, a plurality of pre-defined network topologies are used and the parameters of the ZeroConf process are adapted according to the decided network topology.

Abstract: This invention concerns a network comprising a master and slaves. In the network, each slave figures out its performance values as performance parameters and transmits the performance parameters to the master. The master performs a process of selecting a backup master as a candidate for the next master, on the basis of the performance parameters transmitted from the slaves. The master supplies BM information containing synchronization information and the address of the backup master selected, to the slaves. When the master is removed from the network, the slaves determine the next master in accordance with the backup-master information. Thus, the slaves can be immediately connected to the next master.

The circumference of the bag collar is fitted with support elements for the lid so that the lid can be easily removed or can be inserted into or placed on the bag collar. Notched elements are provided below the support elements and function together with compatible elements on the lid to tightly secure the lid to the bag collar. The lid is fitted with at least one handle for carrying the bag.

Abstract: A portable toilet has (1) a seat with an opening; (2) an annular bag arranged beneath the opening for collecting waste, the upper edge of the bag being secured to the seat; and (3) an overall framework for supporting the seat which may be folded together to save space when the toilet is not being used. A supporting edge is provided around the inside of the opening through the seat for holding the annular bag and the bag is suspended from the holder by a relatively rigid collar around the top of the bag. The framework comprises at least two facing components articulated to the seat.
