  • Patent number: 10689141
Abstract: A thermoform packaging machine comprising a forming station for thermoforming troughs in a bottom film web adapted to be conveyed in the thermoform packaging machine in a conveying direction, as well as a closing station for closing the troughs with a cover film. The machine further comprises a machine frame that includes a plurality of interconnected vertical members, longitudinal members, cross members, and machine feet. At least one substantially U-shaped or O-shaped portal is rigidly integrated in the machine frame, the portal comprising two columns and a crossbar extending between the two columns and above a conveying plane of the bottom film web transversely to the conveying direction, wherein the portal has a 2-axis robot mounted thereon.

  • Patent number: 9260208
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a packaging machine comprising a liftable and lowerable tool, wherein a first lift drive, implemented as a spindle drive with a spindle and a spindle nut, and a second lift drive are provided for moving the tool in a vertical direction. The disclosure is characterized in that, by means of the second lift drive, a tool guide is movable in a vertical direction, and that, at a raised position of the tool guide, the tool can be put down on the tool guide by means of the spindle drive.

  • Patent number: 8596699
Abstract: A gripping device comprising holders which exhibit a two-directional elasticity for picking up products with large dimensional tolerances. The gripping device may comprise two grippers disposed in opposed relationship with one another. At least one of the grippers may be movable towards the other. Each of the grippers may include a holder and a gripping jaw attached to the holder. The holder may be a C-shaped portion that exhibits a two-directional elasticity to allow horizontal as well as a vertical movement of the gripping jaw. At least one of the holders may be coupled to a linear actuator to move the gripper in at least a substantially horizontal direction.
