  • Publication number: 20240003665
Abstract: A method for installing a set of electronic detonators in blast holes of a mining face includes the following steps: connecting detonators, charged into the blast holes, to a movable test device; receiving, by the movable test device, a message sent by each detonator; determining, from that message, a set of values, representing the total number of detonators connected to the movable test device; sending, to one or more detonators of the set, a data set to store including the set of values representing the total number of detonators connected to the movable test device; and storing the data set in the memory of one or more detonators of the set of electronic detonators. Use for later verification of the connection of the detonators before firing.

  • Publication number: 20050065917
Abstract: A search engine receives query terms from a client. In response, the search engine executes a search on a web directory to identify zero or more documents that match the query terms. The identified documents are associated with one or more categories. The search engine probabilistically selects one of the categories associated with the identified documents. Each message in a message database is also associated with one or more of the categories. The search engine accesses the message database and selects at least one message associated with the selected category. The search engine returns a web page containing references to the documents matching the query terms and the one or more messages selected from the message database to the client.

  • Patent number: 6141760
Abstract: A computerized method is provided for generating passwords for password controlled access points. Provided are a master password, an access password, and a user name. The master password, the service name, and the user name are combined using an irreversible function to generate a unique password. The function can be a one-way hash function. The combining can be performed by a browser of a client computer. A similar combining can also be used to generate a user name from the master password and the user's real name.

  • Patent number: 4036307
Abstract: A plough share made of metal having at least two spaced tongues pressed out of the metal and projecting rearwardly at an angle, the two tongues being adapted to engage in complementary holes formed in the frog of a plough. The plough share also has holes therein, these being formed by the tongues being pressed outwardly therefrom. These holes are covered by a reinforcement plate, which is attached to the side of the plough share opposite to the side to which the frog is to be attached.
