  • Patent number: 7640619
Abstract: The invention relates to a wiper system with a wiper drive (1), which is comprised of a wiper motor (2) and a gear (3). A wiper arm shaft (14) for a wiper arm (19) can be driven via the output shaft (5) of the gear (3). Linking points (31, 32, 33) for accommodating the wiper drive (1) on a surface (24, 40) are arranged in the housing area (7) of the wiper drive (1). The linking points (31, 32, 33) of the wiper drive (1) each feature a decoupling element (41, 42, 43), in which fastening elements (55) to mount the wiper drive (1) either on a vehicle body (24) or on a screw-down surface (40) are accommodated.

  • Publication number: 20050140224
Abstract: In a known electric drive unit, in particular for windshield wipers of a motor vehicle, with a drive motor that has a transmission housing (5) for containing at least one worm gear (9) that is supported on a driven shaft (7) and engages with a worm (13) connected to an armature shaft (11) of the drive motor, which driven shaft (7) is supported in an eccentric bush that can be rotated in order to adjust an axial distance (a) between the armature shaft (11) and the driven shaft (7) and can be mounted in the rotated position so that it is prevented from rotating in the transmission housing (5). The invention proposes that two eccentric bushes (19, 23) be mounted spaced apart from each other in the transmission housing (5) in order to support the driven shaft (7).

  • Patent number: 6801006
Abstract: The control device for a wiper device of a window wiper apparatus, especially of a motor vehicle, adapts set values of the wiping angle of the wiper arm to an actually measured operating point of the wiper arm during each wiper cycle. Because of that adaptation both over-wiping and also too little wiping of a wiped area by the wiper device is at least reduced so that the wiper accuracy particularly at the turning points of the wiper arm is improved. Furthermore a method for adjusting of a set value of the wiping angle of a wiper arm of a wiper device to actually existing operating conditions or to an actual operating point is provided.

  • Publication number: 20040035236
Abstract: A windshield wiper device (10), in particular, for a motor vehicle, includes a drive (12) and a worm drive (14) with a worm (16). A worm gear (18) with a toothing (24) is provided, which includes a base body (22) on which the toothing (24) is sprayed. In addition, a method for making such a windshield wiper device is provided.
