  • Publication number: 20190120680
Abstract: An arrangement includes a shaft, a case, and a capacitor having a first electrode and a second electrode. A gap is formed between the first electrode and the second electrode. The shaft extends through an opening in the case. The capacitor is arranged such that lubricant leaking out of the case through the opening at least partially enters the gap.

  • Publication number: 20190124250
Abstract: An endoscope device for the automated inspection of the interior of a transmission. The endoscope has a control unit and an evaluation unit, a feed unit having a swivel element, a changer magazine having a plurality of guide channels and an endoscope. The control unit is connected to the endoscope and is largely provided for controlling the endoscope and for transmitting images to the evaluation unit. The swivel element is provided for aligning a distal end of the endoscope with respect to a relevant guide channel, and the feed unit is provided for axially passing the endoscope through the relevant guide channel. Furthermore, a transmission, in particular for a wind turbine, has a transmission housing having at least one access opening for receiving an endoscope device. Automated inspection of the interior of the transmission can be conducted by the endoscope device.

  • Publication number: 20110006559
Abstract: In a method of making a body for a motor vehicle, shaped components are produced from blanks using at least one forming process. The shaped components are provided with rivet holes, and a coating is applied onto the shaped components for corrosion protection. After applying the corrosion protection, the shaped components are joined with the body via rivets.

  • Publication number: 20100203272
Abstract: A method for producing a motor vehicle component and a motor vehicle component produced by this method are disclosed. A tubular body made of metal, in particular high-strength steel, is filled with a granular material and subsequently heated. During the heat treatment, the granular material melts and then hardens during cool-down to form an interior reinforcement.

  • Publication number: 20080211264
Abstract: A B column of a motor vehicle having a high strength and rigidity in the attachment area of door hinges and door locks and able to protect the occupants of the vehicle in the event of a side crash is provided. The B column includes a reinforcement plate, which extends over the entire height of the B column. Because the requirements for this reinforcement plate are not equally great in all areas, the reinforcement plate is a reshaped tailored rolled blank. The tailored rolled blank is produced by flexible rolling and has different thicknesses transversely to the rolling direction. It is thus especially thick in the areas on which especially high strength and rigidity requirements are placed, while it is implemented as correspondingly thin in the areas which must only fulfill low strength and rigidity requirements.

  • Publication number: 20040101960
Abstract: The invention relates to a bone substitute material which comprises a soft matrix, living cells and a setting matrix. The invention also relates to processes for producing such a bone substitute material and to the use of non-ceramic hydroxyapatite cement for producing a cell-containing bone substitute material. The latter can be injected minimally invasively into a bone defect in a suitable injection apparatus relevant for the invention.

  • Patent number: 6703038
Abstract: A bone substitute material is prepared which comprises a soft matrix, living cells and a setting matrix comprising non-ceramic hydroxyapatite cement. The bone substitute material can be injected minimally invasively into a bone defect with a suitable injection apparatus. In an embodiment, living cells are mixed with a fibrinogen solution and then with a thrombin solution to form the soft matrix, and the soft matrix is mixed with an aqueous solution of non-ceramic hydroxyapatite cement to obtain the bone substitute material which remains unsolidified until after application to a body.

  • Patent number: 6517142
Abstract: A side impact support is described that can be incorporated in a vehicle door, for example, the door of an automobile. The side impact support is made of a metal sheet with a hat-shaped cross-section and two lateral legs connected by a web. The width of the end sections of the side impact support increases towards its end faces. According to the invention, the hat-shaped cross-section of the end sections extends to the end faces and increases in height and width. Preferably, side flanges projecting in the transverse direction are provided on the longitudinal edges of the profile, wherein the side flanges extend beyond the end sections to the end faces.
