  • Publication number: 20230296540
Abstract: A computer-assisted method for determining an element fraction of a determination element, in particular with a small atomic number, especially lithium, of an examination region of a sample bombarded with primary electrons, wherein a backscattered electron signal, preferably a backscattered electron image, captured using a backscattered electron detector and a spectroscopy element composition of the examination region determined using an X-ray spectroscopy detector, such as an EDX detector, are obtained. A practicable quantitative determination can be achieved if a measured gray value SM determined from the backscattered electron signal is combined with element fractions of the spectroscopy element composition in order to determine a fraction of the determination element. A device for processing data and to a computer product for carrying out the method is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20210208099
Abstract: Disclosed is a potentiometric rod-shaped measuring chain for determining the pH value, comprising a measuring half-cell with a measuring electrode (1) and a reference half-cell with at least one reference electrode (2). In order to be able to carry out a functional check of the measuring chain during the pH measurement, provision is made for a voltammetric measuring cell with a working electrode (4) and a counterelectrode (5) to be additionally provided for the purpose of checking the potential measurement of the measuring chain, wherein the voltammettic measuring cell is connected to a voltammetric evaluation unit.

  • Publication number: 20210072182
Abstract: Disclosed is a sensor device (100) for the parallel determination of a concentration of small molecule substances (e.g. ethanol, glucose, etc.) and of a pH value in a solution during the course of a biotechnological process using what is known as cyclic voltammetry. Said sensor device is constructed in the form of a rod electrode. The sensor device consists at least of two rod-shaped working electrodes (102, 103), for which different conductive materials are selected in such a way that distinguishable voltage/current profiles can be determined for the small molecule substances to be determined, and of a rod-shaped reference electrode (104). The working electrodes and the reference electrode are each embedded or melted in a tubular, insulating material. Furthermore, the sensor device comprises a counter electrode (105) in the form of a hollow cylinder, within which the working electrodes and the reference electrode are mounted.

  • Patent number: 8183990
Abstract: A method for recognizing the removal of a tire provided with a tire sensor device, includes recognizing, with the tire sensor device, if a respective tire is mounted on the motor vehicle and storing an item of information relating to a mounting status in the tire sensor device. If a removal is determined, the tire sensor device sends an item of information characterizing the removal to a central control unit and the central control unit outputs a warning. A tire sensor device, a central control unit and a system for anti-theft protection through tire removal recognition, are also provided.

  • Patent number: 8149100
Abstract: A device and a method for distinguishing positions of two tire sensors of a double tire include an LF antenna attached to a vehicle and connected to a central processing unit and one tire sensor each per tire. The tire sensors have a device for measuring field strength of a signal emitted by the LF antenna and the tire sensors report back information on the measured field strength through the LF antenna to the central processing unit. The central processing unit determines the position of the two tire sensors of the double tire from a distribution or course of a current flow during wheel rotation.

  • Patent number: 6091763
Abstract: In order to increase the range of a repeater in a DECT-TDMA system without shortening the time spacing between transmission and reception time-slots (TX, RX), the transmission time-slots (TX) with mobile part functionality (MT) are delayed in time by a bit plurality t.
