  • Patent number: 11446869
Abstract: A recoater for applying a layer of build material capable of solidification on a working surface, wherein the recoater comprises a discharge port and a flattening member, wherein the discharge port is configured to discharge build material to form a heap of build material ahead of the flattening member, wherein the flattening member is configured to spread material from the heap of build material along the working surface in order to form the layer of build material on top of the working surface through a gap formed between a lower surface of the flattening member and the working surface by relative movement of the flattening member and the working surface, wherein the recoater further includes a shutter distanced from the discharge port, wherein the shutter is configured to be movable between a closed position in which build material is not dispensed onto the working surface, and an opened position in which build material is dispensed onto the working surface, wherein the shutter is configured to close an ad

  • Patent number: 11420179
Abstract: A propulsion element including a catalyzing reactor is disclosed. The catalyzing reactor comprises a reactor entrance and a reactor exit and an internal structure arranged for flowing a reacting medium through the reactor from the reactor entrance to the reactor exit. The reactor structure comprising at least one thin walled reactor channel arranged between the entrance and the exit of the reactor. The channel having a channel wall that includes a catalyst and that defines a flow path, in which channel in use, a catalyzed exothermic reaction takes place in the medium as it flows along the flow path. The at least one channel is looped to have a portion of its flow path that is downstream with respect to the reactor entrance in heat exchanging contact with a portion of a flow path that is that is more upstream with respect to the reactor entrance, so as to transfer heat between a downstream portion of the reacting medium to an upstream portion thereof.

  • Publication number: 20210195751
Abstract: An electronic device (1), is provided that comprises an electronic component (30) that is arranged on a component carrier (23) in a cavity (14) of a stack (10) of layers. One or more layers carry electrical conductors (15). The cavity (14) extends through the stack of layers from one of said layers (12n) to another one of said layers (12x). The component carrier (23) comprises electrically conductive tracks (24) from electric contacts (31) of the electronic component (30) to electric terminals (25) of the component carrier to a wall of the cavity to form an electrical connection with a respective one of said electrical conductors (15).
