  • Patent number: 7529431
Abstract: The method/device reconstructs/represents multidimensional objects from one- or two-dimensional image data based on recordings of one- or two-dimensional partial image areas, wherein spatial/positions of individual partial image areas are used along with one- or two-dimensional image information of the individual partial image areas to generate one- or two-dimensional image data, wherein a first group of space elements is generated in a multidimensional voxel space from first space elements which contain multidimensional image information and touch/intersect planes or lines of partial image areas by means of the one- or two-dimensional image data, and wherein a second group of space elements is generated in the multidimensional voxel space from second space elements by means of information transformation from the multidimensional image information of the first group of space elements.

  • Publication number: 20080154952
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and to a device for the representation of a predeterminable region (3) in multidimensional data sets (2). The data sets (2) are especially made of three or four dimensional image data of an object which is to be examined. The image data is produced by means of one or several receiving elements of the object and especially at least one two-dimensional cut (S) is located and displayed through the predeterminable region (3). The cut (S) is defined by at least one vector plane and/or indicator plane (E1, E2), which are arranged in the multi-dimensional data set (2), by means of a vector (4). Said vector or indicator is fixed by manipulation in the multidimensional data set (2) and/or on, particularly, the two-dimensional cut planes (S1, S2) of the multi-dimensional data sets (2) on at least one vector plane (E1, E2) and the vector and/or indicator (4).

  • Publication number: 20050123189
Abstract: The present invention concerns a method and a device for reconstructing and representing multidimensional objects from one- or two-dimensional image data, particularly from ultrasound image data, based on recordings (7) of one- or two-dimensional partial image areas (6) of an object (1), wherein the spatial and/or chronological positions of the individual partial image areas (6) are used along with the one- or two-dimensional image information (13) of the individual partial image areas (6) to generate one- or two-dimensional image data, wherein a first group of space elements (15a) is generated in a multidimensional voxel space (9) from first space elements (10a) which contain multidimensional image information and touch or intersect planes or lines of partial image areas (6) by means of the one- or two-dimensional image data, and wherein a second group of space elements (15b) is generated in the multidimensional voxel space (9) from second space elements (10b) by means of an information transformation from t

  • Patent number: 6685643
Abstract: The invention relates to a method or a device for recording ultrasonic images of an object (1) in which ultrasonic waves are radiated onto the object (1) by an ultrasonic emitter, and ultrasonic waves reflected by the object (1) are received by an ultrasonic receiver. For recording individual image partial areas (6), the ultrasonic emitter or ultrasonic receiver (18) is displaced along the object (1) or is at least partially rotated with regard to the object (1). The corresponding movement (S) of the ultrasonic transmitter or of the ultrasonic receiver (4, 18) is progressively detected by a detector (9, 23) and is assigned to the individual image partial areas (6). As a result, it is possible to record the object (1) by manually moving the ultrasonic transducer (4), whereby an incremental detector serves as a detector (9, 23) for progressively detecting the movement (S).

  • Patent number: 6398731
Abstract: An apparatus and method for recording ultrasound images of a moving object is disclosed. The apparatus includes an ultrasound transmitter, an ultrasound receiver, and an image processor. At least one of the ultrasound transmitter and receiver is moved in relation to an object. Images of the object are acquired, and a movement state of the object is determined and classified into one of two movement states. Based on the movement state of the object, images are either not acquired, or not processed. If the image of the object is not processed, the image processor filters out the images which were acquired during a movement state of the object when the movement is high. The image processor then assembles the images and displays the assembled images.

  • Patent number: 6310828
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for sensing ultrasound images of an object (1). The method is characterized in that an ultra-sound head (3) is moved along the object so as to sense individual image subdomains (13) of said object (1). An evaluation subdomain (14) is analyzed in order to determine the extent of the object (1) or the spacing (&dgr;x) between the individual image subdomains (13). This evaluation subdomain (14) is sensed perpendicularly to the sensed image subdomains (13); that is, it represents a domain of the object (1) which overlaps at least two image subdomains (13). In this way, allocation within the individual image subdomains (13) can be determined by using the structures of the object (1) thus obtained. To this end, in particular a vertical column structure (11) of the object (1) (evaluation subdomain (14)) is analyzed, thus enabling allocation of a plurality of individual horizontal line structures (10), i.e.
