  • Patent number: 12134320
Abstract: A method for heating a motor vehicle having a three-phase electric motor as a traction motor includes providing a pulse-controlled inverter for supplying power to the electric motor and providing a coolant circuit for cooling the electric motor and the pulse-controlled inverter using coolant, the coolant circuit using the coolant to supply heat to a heat exchanger for heating a passenger compartment and/or a vehicle battery, wherein when the electric motor is stationary, a positive d current and/or negative d current is controlled in a d-axis, with the result that heat loss is generated, the heat loss being introduced into the coolant.

  • Publication number: 20240243626
Abstract: A rotor of an electrical machine designed as a permanently excited synchronous machine includes a rotor base body having pocket-like recesses and permanent magnets positioned in the pocket-like recesses and poles which, viewed in a circumferential direction, are arranged alternately next to one another and form pole pairs. In a region of each pole, radially inner pocket-like recesses with radially inner permanent magnets arranged therein form a radially inner permanent magnet group and radially outer pocket-like recesses with radially outer permanent magnets arranged therein form a radially outer permanent magnet group. In a region of the respective radially inner and respective radially outer permanent magnet group, a first longitudinal center axis of a permanent magnet accommodated in a respective central pocket-like recess extends perpendicularly to a partly curved line which extends in a radial direction of the rotor and centrally divides the respective pole in the circumferential direction.

  • Patent number: 11848593
Abstract: A stator device for an electric machine, including a laminated core arrangement with a plurality of receiving grooves for receiving, in each receiving groove, at least one conductor element of a stator winding in a conductor channel, wherein the receiving grooves each provide at least one flow channel, wherein the laminated core arrangement includes a plurality of laminated core units which are lined up axially and which each provide axial groove sections of the receiving grooves, and wherein the groove sections associated with each of the plurality of laminated core units at least in part have a groove geometry variant taken from a group of at least two different groove geometry variants, such that the receiving grooves, over an axial extent along the laminated core arrangement, each have at least two different groove geometry variants.

  • Publication number: 20230344292
Abstract: A stator assembly for an electric machine, including a sheet metal package, a winding assembly, and a collimator. The sheet metal package includes sheets and extends between a first and second axial end. The sheets include grooves forming groove pockets in the sheet metal package. The winding assembly extends through the groove pockets, the groove pockets at least partially including a first plurality of grooves configured as open grooves in a first axial region provided at the first axial end, a second plurality of grooves configured as open grooves in a second axial region provided at the second axial end, and a third plurality of grooves in at least one third axial region, the at least one third axial region lying between the first axial region and the second axial region. The third plurality of grooves are configured as closed grooves.
