  • Publication number: 20220297485
Abstract: The invention relates to an anti-skid chain (1) for tires (3), in particular for bogie axles, wherein the anti-skid chain (1) has two laterally stable guide chains (5) which, when installed, are arranged to the side of the treads (9) of the tires (3), wherein the anti-skid chain (1) has a flexible chain mesh (7) which extends between the two guide chains (5), and wherein at least one guide chain (5) has chain links (15, 17) which are interconnected in an articulated manner by means of joint pins (19) in the circumferential direction (U), and at least one rotation-blocking element (27) by means of which a maximum joint angle (35) between two interconnected chain links (15, 17) is a defined. In order to prevent lateral pulling of the anti-skid chain (1) and, at the same time, to provide an anti-skid chain (1) that is easy to produce, according to the invention, a part of the rotation-blocking element (27) is located on at least one of the joint pins (19).

  • Patent number: 10207547
Abstract: The invention relates to a shield-shaped side-wall protection element for a vehicle tire and to a protective device for vehicle tires. In order to provide a side-wall protection element for vehicle tires that can optimally protect a tire side wall under rough conditions, that can be produced economically, and is easy to install, the invention provides a shield-shaped side-wall protection element for a vehicle tire, comprising a radially inner base, an outer edge, which forms the radially outer end and which extends in a circumferential direction, and with a shield segment, which extends from the outer edge at least to the base, wherein the outer edge is at least partially offset axially inward from the base). The protective device for vehicle tires according to the invention comprises a plurality of shield-shaped side-wall protection elements arranged overlapping in the manner of shingles in a circumferential direction.

  • Patent number: 8303045
Abstract: A protective device for tire walls has a holder for attaching the protective device on a wheel. The protective device has protective elements connected to the holder. The protective elements are shape-stable parts that under load are elastically deformable. They extend approximately radially away from the holder. The protective elements do not protect the entire tire but only the endangered area of the tire walls.

  • Patent number: 7930874
Abstract: A chain member assembly for a tire chain has a link having at least one receiving opening delimited by a wall and a ring member engaging the receiving opening. The wall of the receiving opening has at least in the contact area with the ring member at least two contact surfaces spaced apart from one another and a recessed wall section positioned between the at least two contact surfaces. The ring member has an inner side that rests areally against the at least two contact surfaces.
