  • Patent number: 11949132
Abstract: The invention relates to a fuel cell system (1) comprising an air compressor (5) which is used to compress an air mass flow (4) that is supplied to at least one fuel cell (3), and further comprising a cooling air path (19), via which a cooling air mass flow (7) is branched off from the compressed air mass flow (6). The cooling of the air compressor (5) in the fuel cell system (1) is further improved by an on-demand control (20) of the compressed cooling air mass flow (6).

    Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbH
Inventors: Johannes Zondler, Tobias Reinhard Ott
  • Patent number: 11815043
Abstract: A method includes determining a first voltage that is in a high-side path of a circuit, the path including a high-side switch connected between a first potential connection of the circuit and a first connection of a load of the circuit; determining a second voltage that is in a low-side path of the circuit, the path including a low-side switch connected between a second potential connection of the circuit and a second connection of the load; responsive to a determination that one of the voltages exceeds a threshold for at least a duration of a predefined time interval, checking whether the other voltage currently exceeds the threshold; and determining that there is a short circuit across the load or in whichever of the paths has the voltage that exceeded the threshold for the duration, respectively, if the result of the check is positive or negative.

  • Patent number: 11161414
Abstract: A circuit for detecting a creeping short circuit in bridge connections. The circuit includes a first detection device for a power loss at a battery-side connection of the bridge connection to a first counting register and a second detection device for a power loss at a ground-side connection of the bridge connection to a second counting register.

  • Patent number: 10958264
Abstract: A circuit system for controlling an electrical consumer, the circuit system including an up-down counter, and the circuit system being configured to generate a control signal for controlling the electrical consumer, in particular for shutting off the electrical consumer, as a function of a counter content of the up-down counter. The circuit system includes a controllable clock divider circuit, with the aid of which the circuit system is configured to predefine a counting direction and a counting speed of the up-down counter as a function of at least one variable characterizing an actual current and/or a nominal current of the electrical consumer.
