  • Publication number: 20200374579
Abstract: An audio system may receive a media stream, via a first wireless connection, in an analog format. The audio system may digitize the media stream, as received via the first wireless connection, to provide a first sub-stream. The audio system may receive a media stream, via a second wireless connection, in a digital format. The media stream from the second wireless connection may be a second sub-stream. The audio system may compare at least one reproduction characteristic of the first sub-stream and the second sub-stream. The audio system may adjust at least one further reproduction characteristic of the second sub-stream based on the comparison.

  • Patent number: 9577686
Abstract: A method and system for providing radio frequency auto gain control (RF AGC) for a specific frequency is provided herein. The method includes obtaining a noise measurement (N) and radio frequency level for the specific frequency; scanning a band of frequencies that the specific frequency is part of, and storing a plurality of undesired frequencies; computing a frequency intermodulation up to a predetermined level based on the plurality of undesired frequencies; and in response to the frequency intermodulation being not equal to the specific frequency, performing an iterative process to readjust the RF AGC, the iterative process including a readjustment of the RF AGC based on a noise floor performance.

  • Patent number: 5911983
Abstract: The present invention relates to gene therapy for Gaucher disease using retroviral vectors which express the glucocerebrosidase gene. Methods are provided for transduction of autologous hematopoietic stem cells (e.g., human CD34+ cells) with these vectors and for transplantation of the transduced cells into a Gaucher disease patient to provide therapeutically effective levels of glucocerebrosidase activity. The invention also provides for retroviral vectors that express the glucocerebrosidase gene, and for human hematopoietic cells that contain the retroviral vector.
