In one example, among others, a system is configured to receive the plurality of resources and a plurality of rules. The system is also configured to determine an authorized location and an authorized area based on the plurality of rules. The authorized location and the authorized area are determined to have different access rights to the plurality of resources. The system is further configured to determine a location of the computing device and grant access to a resource based on the location of the computing device with respect to the authorization location or the authorized area.

Upon receipt of a command to active an interactive feature, a determination is made whether a user who did not activate the interactive feature is interested in the media asset. Upon that determination, a timer is activated that tracks an amount of time for which the interactive feature is active and a determination is made whether a threshold time period has been met. Once the threshold time period is met, a device associated with the user that activated the interactive feature is identified and the users are prompted to transfer the interactive feature to the device.

The systems and methods may generate an audio signature for a detected first sound and compare the audio signature with a plurality of registered audio signatures. In response to determining that the audio signature matches a second registered audio signature, the systems and methods may enable a second operational mode for a device that enables a second plurality of commands, where the second plurality of commands are different from the first plurality of commands.
