  • Patent number: 5074407
Abstract: An elongate impact absorbing support member for a roller conveyor, conveyor belt or other structure comprising a unitary body having two generally parallel side wall portions joined along two parallel elongate edges by a crown portion, to form respective shoulders and having respective elongate attachment foot portions along parallel edges opposite the said parallel elongate edges whereby to receive and engage a clamp member for securing the impact absorber member to an underlying support structure, the wall portions being curved from the shoulder portions to the foot portions thereof.

  • Patent number: 5065859
Abstract: A conveyor belt scraper of the type having at least one arm pivotally mounted to a fixed structure adjacent a movable conveyor belt, a scraper blade secured to a free end of the arm for contact with the belt in use of the scraper, and a stack of resilient elements for urging the arm to turn about its pivotal connection to the fixed structure whereby to press the scraper blade into contact with the belt, in which the stack of resilient elements is stressed in compression when the arm is turned in one direction about the pivotal connection to the fixed structure.

  • Patent number: 5064160
Abstract: A device for clamping a panel such as a conveyor belt skirt rubber in position, comprising a support body attachable to a fixed support such as a conveyor feed boot or skirt board, a clamp arm pivotally mounted to the support body, and resilient biasing means for urging the clamp arm to turn about the pivotal connection to the support body, in which the resilient biasing means comprises a helical coil stressed in torsion to apply the required resilient biasing to hold the clamp arm in a required position.
