  • Patent number: 6441606
Abstract: A wafer cassette includes a stationary dual-zone temperature control base and a removable wafer cassette top. The top includes a main cassette support structure, onto which wafer test electronics, a test interface connector, a wafer interconnect assembly, a wafer test area, a flex film interconnect, and a wafer chuck with evacuation chamber and electric wafer heater, and at least one rough alignment fixture are mounted. A wafer to be tested is inserted, with a pressure-isolating seal, between the wafer chuck and the wafer test area. The base is a stationary fixed portion which includes a first support compartment, a second support compartment and thermal circuits, each of which includes fluid inlet and outlet connections. The fixed portion further includes a heater interconnect to provide connection and external access for a heater element, as well as a vacuum interconnect line to provide external connection to the evacuation chamber.

  • Patent number: 6200254
Abstract: Novel macrocyclic diene ketone compounds useful as fragrance materials are described having the following general formula (I): where R1, R2, R3 and R4 are each either a hydrogen atom or a C1 to C4 alkyl, a is the integer 1 or 2 and b is an integer in a range from 1 to 6. Novel pathways are described for synthesizing these macrocyclic diene ketones, as well as saturated and mono-unsaturated macrocyclic ketones having the following general formula (IV): where R1, R2, R3 and R4 are each independently a hydrogen atom or a C1 to C4 alkyl, a is the integer 1 or 2 and b is an integer in a range from 1 to 6.

  • Patent number: 6110888
Abstract: A fragrance and/or flavor compound of the general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is one of propyl or a 2-propenyl group and R.sub.2 is a C.sub.1 -C.sub.5 alkyl group, said compound having exactly one R.sub.1 and from one to four R.sub.2. The compounds possess antimicrobial activity as well as flavor or odor characteristics acceptable for use in flavors and fragrances, respectively. The compounds are useful in forming flavor and/or fragrance compositions having antimicrobial activity. Product formulations, such as detergents, are useful for imparting both acceptable fragrance and antimicrobial properties. Other product formulations, such as mouthwashes, are useful for imparting both acceptable flavor and antimicrobial properties.

  • Patent number: 5306072
Abstract: A modular article of furniture which has a right hand element and a left hand element, each being a rigid U-shaped arch with a pair of downwardly-extending legs, and a bight joining the legs. A pair of parallel shear members are integrally and rigidly connected to each of the legs, the members of each pair being one above the other. The shear members are joined by a splice, and an interconnecting member joins them for in-plane stability against tilting of the right hand element and left hand element.

  • Patent number: 5277476
Abstract: An article of furniture which can readily be assembled from simple structural components with minimum tools. The article of furniture comprises a seat rail frame and a pair of end panels. The seat rail frame includes a pair of parallel spaced apart linear seat rails and a pair of parallel end plates rigidly fixed to the seat rails in a rectangular configuration. The end plates are normal to the seat rails. A support member, such as a seat or a table, has a pair of grooves in the bottom surface for fitting over the rails and is secured thereto by attachment members. The length of the rails can be made shorter or longer depending on how many support members are to be supported on the seat rails.
