Publication number: 20240086156Abstract: A hybrid code construct combines imperative and declarative semantics for leveraging complementary features for a relational database exchange optimized for declarative access driven by imperative direction for imposing iterative and conditional looping behavior. Databases responsive to a declarative command structure receive declarative code generated from an imperative code sequence. The imperative code is based on a language that allows conditional iteration for repetitive commands, which invoke the declarative command syntax within a controlled loop or iteration. Declarative syntax, while enjoying optimizations for high performance database access, does not lend itself well to iterative logic common for linear regression and training of ML models. The hybrid code allows efficient ML training while the dataset defining the model remains within the database and need not incur network transport for Al based usage.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 12, 2023Publication date: March 14, 2024Inventors: John T. Langton, Patrick McDonald, Jeff Curran

Patent number: 11915203Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate scheduling maintenance services for a special-purpose vehicle. In an exemplary embodiment, a user device comprises a user interface, a processor, and memory comprising instructions that when executed by the processor cause the processor to output, to the user interface, a plurality of service method icons. The plurality of service methods comprise a first service method icon corresponding to a service being performed on the special-purpose vehicle at a first location and a second service method icon corresponding to the service being performed on the special-purpose vehicle at a second location. The first location and the second location are different locations. The memory also comprises instructions that when executed by the processor cause the processor to receive, via the user interface, a selection of a service method icon of the plurality of service method icons and send, to a scheduling server, a signal corresponding to the selected service method icon.Type: GrantFiled: November 20, 2019Date of Patent: February 27, 2024Assignee: Polaris Industries Inc.Inventors: Douglas Koch, John Kastanek, Bridget McLennan, Nicole Wolverton, Josh Grube, Adam McCullough, Deirdre O'Connell, Alex Royalty, David Duckworth, Jamie Curran, Evan Hoffman

Publication number: 20150026033Abstract: Protections against self-matching trade orders are disclosed which maximize liquidity/efficiency by reducing/minimizing unnecessary cancelations and/or resubmissions. Rather than automatically cancel or modify the incoming and/or self-matching counter orders, those resting counter orders, which would result in the occurrence of a self-match with an incoming order, are placed in a hold state or otherwise set aside such that the incoming order may be matched with other non-self-matching orders. The held orders are subsequently returned to the order book at the same, or different, priority to await a subsequent incoming order.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 3, 2014Publication date: January 22, 2015Inventors: John Curran, Akira Yamaguchi, Brian Wolf, Pearce Peck-Walden, James Wilcox, James Bailey, Neil Lustyk, Katherine Patrick, Paul A.
