    Abstract: A cotton stalk remover apparatus is provided for attachment to a cotton harvesting machine. The removal apparatus is placed in-line behind each harvesting head or operated as a separate machine. The removal apparatus includes a blade section having a rotating blade that lifts and damages cotton stalks. The cotton stalks are released rearward from the blade section assisted by the rotating blade. The blade may have four peripheral blades, and the blade may be assisted in ejecting the cotton stalks by an directional device section having a rotating walker or alternatively a spiral auger that moves the top section of cotton stalks downward and rearward. The lifting and de-rooting of the cotton stalks by the blade may be assisted by a pulling section that includes rotating spindles with spiral flanges that grab, lift and release the stalks immediately prior to the stalks entering the blade section.

    Abstract: A poultry rejuvenating machine for attachment to a tractor includes a deck with an offset front frame attached to the top and front of the deck for attachment of the machine to a power-transfer output and a three-point hitch of a tractor. A rotating shaft is housed within the deck, and a plurality of peripheral blades are coaxially and equidistantly held on the shaft by bushings. Height adjustable skids attached to the bottom of the deck space the blades about 1 inch from the floor of a poultry house. A guide is provided on a projecting end of the deck, and a belt drive is provided on the other end of the deck that is drivingly engaged to the shaft. The machine traverses a poultry house to cut, turn and rejuvenate poultry litter.

Peripheral blades will not throw objects out from under the mower deck they are mounted on, nor will they come apart creating a dangerous environment for those who are around the mower. The construction of the blade being one piece makes manufacture of it less expense and replacement of the blades less often.
