The sales site receives an order for a target unit from the client and sends the physical order to a warehouse for shipping. The sales site determines the intangible portion of the order and establishes a virtual warehouse for the client to inventory the intangibles (license components). The warehouse notifies the sales site of the unique identifiers on the target prior to shipping so the sales site can link the en-route target with the client. The client accesses its personal virtual warehouse and selects the license components desired for the site license. The system assembles the site license and upon request, transmits the site license from the virtual warehouse to the target unit for installation.

    Abstract: This invention is a servo mounting system, which allows a servo with a rotating output shaft to directly power an aircraft control surface. A specially designed servo mount securely positions the servo with the central axis of its rotational output shaft on, and axially aligned with, the hinge line of the control surface it drives. The servo shaft and servo body are directly connected to the airframe and control surface, thereby conserving rotational motion while driving control movement. Electronic means are then used to control the neutral point and the limit of travel of the servo. The system eliminates lost motion without generating adverse linear loads within the drive assembly.

    Abstract: Compaction apparatus for a refuse collection vehicle provided with a body having a hopper to receive refuse. The hopper has opposed enclosure side walls. Hydraulic motor members are positioned adjacent the enclosure side walls and operate a packer member which extends between the enclosure side walls and which forces refuse from the hopper into another portion of the body for compaction of the refuse. The hydraulic motor members are thus positioned so that a maximum opening into the hopper is provided for receiving the refuse and for compaction thereof, and the packer member is of maximum length between the side walls to compact a maximum volume of refuse in the body during each compaction cycle.
