    Abstract: A loan system program comprises a loan account having a loan principal on a purchased item, and a secondary account used to pay the amortized interest on the loan principal. A user deposits, such as through automatic deposit, user payments directly into the loan account, thus paying down the loan principal. The user then uses the secondary account for personal expenses that would otherwise be met by the deposited user payments. At the end of the month or grace period, the user pays off the monthly interest on the loan account with the secondary account. The lender than raises the loan balance of the loan account to cover the secondary account balance. At least a portion of the next user deposit to the loan account covers the raise loan balance, and another portion is used to pay down the loan principal.

    Abstract: An easy-opening insulation package for containing a stack of resilient insulation batts, such as but not limited to glass fiber insulation batts, is formed from a sheet material. The sheet material completely encircles the batts and has a stress riser that extends longitudinally with respect to the batts for the length of the batts. Preferably, the sheet material has at least one tear line, such as a perforated line, extending generally perpendicular to and crossing the stress riser for creating an opening in the package through the rupture of the sheet material by hand along the perforated line and for permitting the stress riser to be separated by hand from the opening created along the perforated line to gain access to the batts within the package. Preferably, the ends of the package are closed and the perforated line completely encircles the package to permit the package to be separated into two sections by rupturing the perforated line along its entire length.

The braking ECU has a data memory storing specific braking parameters normally installed therein prior to commissioning the trailer. The trailer has a further diagnostic ECU responsive to vehicle operational sensors, the further ECU also having memory capacity. The specific braking parameters are stored via a communication link consequent upon installation thereof to the braking ECU. Upon recognizing installation of a replacement braking control unit, the parameters from the further ECU are installed in the replacement ECU.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for determining the proper satellite communications service to be provided to a subscriber unit that may be integrated with the geographically defined service areas used in terrestrial cellular communications systems. The pre-existing geographically defined service areas are subdivided into quadrilateral tiles wherein each tile corresponds to a single service area. In addition, the tiles are mapped to a grid having a plurality of regularly spaced grid locations. A lookup table is created that references each grid location to the tiles that overlap the grid locations. The position of the subscriber unit and an approximated region of error within which the subscriber unit is likely to be located are used as input. The approximated region of error is mapped to the grid to identify the grid locations that align with the approximated region of error.

The invention also relates to processes for production of such dry foodstuffs using the dipeptide sweetener substantially in solid, dry form.

The portable batt cutter includes storage for retaining a fibrous insulation blanket; a feed mechanism for feeding the fibrous insulation blanket from the storage to a transverse cutter; and the transverse cutter which makes a transverse cut across the width of the fibrous insulation blanket to determine the length of the batt. The portable batt cutter may also include a cutter for making a longitudinal cut in the fibrous insulation blanket to form a batt having a width less than the width of the fibrous insulation blanket and a measuring device to measure the length of the batt prior to forming the transverse cut in the fibrous insulation blanket.

    Abstract: An apparatus has a rotary member mounted to it for rotating around a fixed axis of rotation, and also has a support member secured to it to extend tangential to the rotary member, the location of tangency being defined as a workstation. A continuous first medium extends around substantially the whole periphery of the rotary member. The first medium moves relative to the periphery due to a mechanism on the rotary member which continuously withdraws a portion of the first medium from the periphery and replaces that withdrawn portion with a new portion. The first medium is thereby pulled along the periphery of the rotary member in the same direction in which the rotary member is adapted to rotate. A second medium moves along the support member and through the workstation at the same speed as that at which the first medium passes through the workstation.
