  • Publication number: 20090057045
Abstract: A skid steer or wheel loader having an implement, such as a bucket, arranged for elevational and tilting movements relative to the frame of the loader has a foot controlled hydraulic system that deters lift arm chatter. An accumulator is directly connected to the conduit between the control valve, which controls raising and lowering of the implement, and the end chamber of the lift arm cylinder that raises the implement. The spool of the control valve is positioned by a mechanically linked foot pedal. The end chamber that lowers the implement is not connected to the hydraulic fluid supply reservoir when the control valve spool is in its neutral position, so that down pressure may be applied to the implement for ground penetration and deter lift arm chatter without having to turn the system on or off at appropriate times.

  • Patent number: 5732331
Abstract: A portable radio includes a main housing having a first electrical circuit and a flip portion having a second electrical circuit. The flip portion is rotatively mounted with a hinge to the main housing for positioning the flip portion between a close position and an open position. The hinge includes a slot connected to the main housing and a rod connected to the flip portion. The slot includes a rod securing position where the rod is secured within the slot and a rod non-securing position where the rod is attachable and detachable from the slot to allow the flip portion to be detached from and reattached to the main housing. The radio further includes an electrical coupler mechanism that couples the first electrical circuit in the main housing with the second electrical circuit in the flip portion. The electrical coupler mechanism includes contacts that are freely separated from one another such that the electrical coupling mechanism is not damaged during the detachment and reattachment of the flip portion.

  • Patent number: 5154030
Abstract: A modular living space partitioning system uses a variety of wall panel and wall posts structures, all including several units of a basic structural interface component consisting essentially of a post defining a central interconnecting strip which is oriented at a 45 degree angle with the direction of any wall or panel and two lateral flanges having a equal width corresponding to .sqroot.2 of two times the width of the strip. The basic element can be used on the lateral edges of panels as connectors, or combined two, three, or four at a time to create two, three or four-way right angle connecting pillars.
