  • Patent number: 11965859
Abstract: System and methods are provided for empirical analysis of remaining life in electromechanical devices. Sensors are positioned to generate signals representing sound energy emitted by devices, and digital sound data are stored corresponding thereto. The system classifies sound characteristics and their corresponding impact on wear rate over time via recurring analysis of the stored sound data. For a selected device, a wear state is estimated based on a comparison of current sound energy emitted therefrom with respect to sound data for a comparable group of electromechanical devices, and it may be ascertained whether certain classified sound characteristics are present in digital sound data corresponding to the selected electromechanical device. Output signals are selectively generated based on the estimated wear state and/or classified sound characteristics ascertained to be present, e.g.

  • Publication number: 20240125152
Abstract: An anti-theft device for securing an article of merchandise against unauthorized removal from a display counter. The anti-theft device comprises a latch plate and a pedestal having a quick-release interface. The latch plate is configured to selectively couple to the quick-release interface. A latch bolt is disposed within the pedestal. The latch bolt locks the latch plate relative to the quick-release interface. A plurality of retaining arms is configured to receive and retain an article of merchandise. The retaining arms cannot be disengaged from the article of merchandise while the latch plate is locked relative to the quick-release interface. A solenoid is housed within the pedestal and operationally connected to the latch bolt. The solenoid is configured to retract the latch bolt into a position in which the latch bolt disengages the latch plate, thereby releasing the latch plate from the quick-release interface.

  • Publication number: 20240125074
Abstract: Aspects of a geogrid system and method for improving substrate interactions within a geotechnical environment is disclosed. In one aspect a geotechnical environment is configured with a horizontal multilayer mechanically stabilizing geogrid. In said aspect the geogrid is extruded with a polymeric material and a compressible cellular layer, wherein the geogrid comprises a heightened aspect ratio with a patterned structure of engineered discontinuities and a plurality of strong axes. The combination of elements provides for a system and method of stabilizing soils and aggregate, by resisting lateral movement from the strong axes, and trapping particles in the patterned structure of engineered discontinuities.

  • Patent number: 11943096
Abstract: The technology may be utilized in network environments that use fiber optic cables to connect components. Components of the network perform functions as transceivers that transmit and receive light signals via the fiber cable. When optic power data received from the transceivers is recognized as a fault, an event is identified. The system logs each received event and converts all measurements into a common unit of measurement. The system analyzes aggregated data from the transceivers to detect patterns and trends, monitor the received data and provide real time fault predictions. For example, a machine learning process may recognize subtle trends or patterns in the data, and use the recognition to predict potential failures. The system uses the received data to create a graphical user interface (“GUI”) that represents the health of the network.

  • Patent number: 11926652
Abstract: Provided herein are recombinant CTLA-4 binding proteins, which are, inter alia, useful for the treatment of cancer. The recombinant proteins provided herein are, inter alia, capable of binding CTLA-4 proteins on a tumor cell. In a first aspect, there is provided a recombinant CTLA-4 binding protein including (i) a CTLA-4 binding domain; (ii) a CTLA-4 binding domain masking peptide; and (iii) a cleavable peptide linker connecting the CTLA-4 binding domain masking peptide to the CTLA-4 binding domain. In another aspect, there is provided a dimerizing domain covalently attached to the CTLA-4 binding domain, wherein the binding protein domains are bound together.

  • Patent number: 11929056
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments may relate to systems and methods for monitoring and/or mapping noise data from a plurality of noise monitoring devices. In some embodiments, the plurality of noise monitoring devices may include hearing protection devices configured to detect noise, and typically may communicate such noise data (which may also include location) so that the noise data can be pooled. The pooled noise data from the plurality of noise monitoring devices may then be used to the benefit of one or more of such noise monitoring devices.

  • Publication number: 20240057956
Abstract: A real-time fluoroscopic imaging system includes a collimator and a detector which are rotationally movable independent of the support assembly, e.g., c-arm, to which they are mounted. Rotational movement of the collimator and the detector are coordinated such that the orientation of the detector with respect to the collimator does not change. The collimator may include a geared flange member to facilitate rotation, and may be a single molded piece formed of a plastic such as tungsten polymer material. The system may also include a plurality of interchangeable collimators characterized by different shapes. A display is provided to present an image to an operator, and image orientation logic displays a target anatomy in a selected orientation regardless of orientation of the target anatomy relative to the detector, and regardless of rotation of the detector.
