Abstract: A unitary deflection member and a method for making a unitary deflection member is disclosed. The method can include the steps of: providing an additive manufacturing making apparatus; providing a material for the unitary deflection member, the material being compatible for use with the additive manufacturing making apparatus; generating a 3-D digital image of objects in a repeat element of the unitary deflection member, the objects including at least a reinforcing member and at least one protuberance of the unitary deflection member; assembling the objects into a digitized file including the at least one protuberance being on said reinforcing member; importing the digitized file to make numerical control file; and depositing the material using the additive manufacturing making apparatus to make the unitary deflection member.

Abstract: One or more nodes on a network can run a network discovery service to obtain information regarding network configuration parameters for the nodes on the network by passively listening for packets received on one or more ports. The discovered network configuration data can be used to identify a configuration for various types of nodes. The configuration can then be used to facilitate checking, testing, or self-configuration of a network configuration of one of the nodes (e.g., a lead node or a new node).

Abstract: A unitary deflection member. The unitary deflection member can have a backside defining an X-Y plane and a thickness in a Z-direction. The unitary deflection member can also have a reinforcing member and a plurality of protuberances positioned on the reinforcing member. Each protuberance can have a three-dimensional shape such that any cross-sectional area of the protuberance parallel to the X-Y plane can have an equal or greater area than any cross-sectional area of the protuberance being a greater distance from the X-Y plane in the Z-direction.

Abstract: A method for formation property prediction may comprise drilling a borehole into a formation using a drill bit, measuring one or more parameters of drill bit motion, and inputting the one or more parameters of the drill bit motion into a formation property prediction model which outputs one or more properties of the formation. Another method may for forming a formation property model may comprise acquiring one or more formation properties and one or more parameters of drill bit motion, forming one or more data packets, and correlating the one or more data packets in the database to form the formation property prediction model that predicts a formation property based at least in part on drill bit measurements. A system may comprise a drill bit, gyroscope unit coupled to the drill bit in a known positional relationship, a magnetometer unit coupled to the drill bit, and an information handling system.

The patterned framework can have a plurality of regularly spaced protuberances extending from the reinforcing member. Abstract: A compose form for drafting a message is presented inline within a window along with a message list. For example, instead of overlaying the message application's user interface (UI) with a new window for composing a message, the compose form is displayed within a portion of the window reserved for viewing content of messages. While composing the message using the compose form, the rest of the message application's UI remains visible and accessible to the user. For example, the user may navigate to another folder and/or move to another message/conversation by interacting with the tree view/message list view. A draft of the message being composed may be automatically saved when the user navigates away from the compose form (e.g. by selecting another conversation in the list view).

Abstract: One or more nodes on a network can perform network discovery operations to obtain information regarding network configuration parameters for the nodes on the network. The network configuration data can be compared and used to determine if there are mismatches between the various node's configurations. A mismatch can indicate that a node is misconfigured, which can result in significant degradation in performance of the node or of the network system as a whole. The network configuration data can be used to automatically resolve errors in configuration or to provide reports on potential errors in configuration. Additionally, the network configuration data that is discovered by a node can be used to establish an initial configuration for the node.

Abstract: Data is stored in a first storage device or second storage device, where the first storage device and second storage device are located in a borehole of a geologic formation, and where a value of a storage attribute associated with the first storage device is different than a value of a storage attribute associated with the second storage device. A value based on an ambient condition downhole in the borehole is determined. The data is stored in the first storage device, if the value based on the ambient condition is less than or equal to a threshold or the data is stored in the second storage device, if the value based on the ambient condition is greater than the threshold.

Abstract: Known wet electrostatic precipitators are large and inefficient. The present invention enables the production of smaller, more efficient and long lasting wet electrostatic precipitators by the addition of a central bore in the inner electrode through which a first purge flow is passed and directed into the precipitator chamber, perpendicular to the direction of flow of the gas to be treated through the chamber to urge the particulate into the water curtain. A second, larger, cleaning purge flow is also provided to disturb the water curtain such that it cleans the inner electrode of any deposited particulate.

A pair of buttress regions (B) are disposed on front and rear sides of the sealing region (A). The weight of the filling medium in the buttress regions (B) acts to prevent displacement of the bag (10) from the building opening (30).

Abstract: Methods for replication and lift-off of micro/nano structures in single or multilayer thin films from a master substrate at wafer scale. The methods utilize polymeric materials with low-elastomeric properties to enhance the mechanical strength of the thin films during the replication and liftoff process from a master substrate, wherein the flexible polymer can have stand alone integrity. The master substrate can contain a surface relief which has a desired pattern to be replicated.
