  • Publication number: 20220303790
Abstract: Optimal determination of wireless antenna configurations may be provided. A computing device may direct an antenna array of an Access Point (AP) to generate a wide beamwidth, to locate a cluster of two or more stations. Upon locating the cluster, the AP can narrow the beamwidth, and, with the narrower beamwidth, receive a key performance indicator (KPI) from at least one of the two or more stations in the cluster. The computing device may then generate a statistical model, based on the KPI and an antenna vector of the antenna array. Based on the statistical model, the computing device can determine a second antenna vector to optimize the KPI for one or more of the client stations. The computing device can then modify the antenna state of the AP to generate the determined antenna vector.

  • Publication number: 20220258600
Abstract: A composite tank for a reusable launch vehicle comprises a composite wall, having a first coefficient of thermal expansion. The composite wall comprises a first end, a second end, a central axis, which passes through the first end and through the second end, and a cylindrical interior surface. The composite tank also comprises slosh baffles, formed from a second material, having a second coefficient of thermal expansion that is different from the first coefficient of thermal expansion. Each of the slosh baffles is attached to the cylindrical interior surface of the composite wall. Each of the slosh baffles is annular and is separated from the cylindrical interior surface of the composite wall by a radial gap, selected, in part, based on a difference between the first coefficient of thermal expansion and the second coefficient of thermal expansion. The radial gap is configured to change responsive to changes in temperature of the composite tank.

  • Patent number: 11416673
Abstract: An apparatus includes a memory and a processor. The memory stores a set of sentence blocks, each including one or more sentence variants, and information identifying a selected variant. The processor displays a sequence of elements, each associated with a block and displaying the selected variant of the block, and a plurality of sentences, each assigned to a block and corresponding to the selected sentence variant of the block. The processor receives a selection of a first element, associated with a first block, or a first sentence, corresponding to the selected sentence variant of the first block, and, in response, displays the sentence variants of the first block, and an identification of the first sentence as the selected sentence variant of the first block. The processor receives information identifying a new selected sentence variant of the first block, and replaces the displayed first sentence with the new selected sentence variant.

  • Publication number: 20220239531
Abstract: According to one or more embodiments of the disclosure, a device receives data regarding wireless communications between a wireless access point and a client. The device evaluates, based on the data, motion of the client relative to the wireless access point. The device makes, based on the motion of the client relative to the wireless access point, a determination that the motion of the client relative to the wireless access point will result in the wireless communications degrading as the client approaches the wireless access point. The device adjusts the wireless communications, based on the determination that the motion of the client relative to the wireless access point will result in the wireless communications degrading as the client approaches the wireless access point.

  • Publication number: 20220222087
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products for configuring and managing chemical dispensers (41). A mobile device (18) scans for and wirelessly connects to dispensers (41) within range of the wireless device (18). The wireless device (18) downloads one or more configuration files from a database (28) of dispenser configuration files for configuring the dispenser (41). In response to the user selecting a configuration file, one or more configuration parameters defined by the configuration file are uploaded into the dispenser (41). The wireless device (18) may then step the user through setup of the dispenser (41) using data in the configuration file. The mobile device (16) may further determine the location of the dispenser (41), and upload the location to the database (28). The database (28) may then associate the dispenser (41) with the location as well as keep track of how the dispenser is configured.

  • Publication number: 20220225325
Abstract: Optimal determination of wireless network pathway configurations may be provided. A computing device may establish Multi-Access Point (AP) coordination between at least a first AP and a second AP. The first AP can determine an uplink operation is scheduled. When an uplink is scheduled, the first AP can switch its antenna to a narrow beamwidth. The first AP can then receive uplink transmissions from at least a client in the coverage area of the narrow beamwidth. After the uplink transmission, the first AP can then switch the antenna to a larger beamwidth for a next Multi-AP coordination operation.

  • Patent number: 11379931
Abstract: Systems, methods and computer-readable media are provided for predicting probability of a clinical invoice being paid by a specified date. A clinical invoice is a request for payment. The clinical invoice can take the form of an insurance claim, bill to a person (e.g., self-insured, co-pay), or submission to a government entity (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid). Healthcare facilities do not know how long they will have to wait between submitting an invoice and receiving compensation from government, insurance, or other payers. The methods described herein can be used to estimate the probability of payment occurring by a specified date. This information can be used to triage outstanding claims for investigation and to improve outstanding cash forecasts. The technology described herein uses survival curves to estimate when an invoice will be paid.
