  • Publication number: 20240137004
Abstract: An apparatus for filtering radio frequency signals is provided. The apparatus includes a substrate and a membrane coupled to the substrate that includes piezoelectric material. The apparatus also includes an interdigital transducer (IDT) coupled to the membrane and includes a plurality of interleaved fingers. The apparatus also includes a lid, in which the membrane is arranged between the substrate and the lid with a first cavity having a first height between the lid and a first main surface of the membrane and a second cavity having a second height between the substrate and a second main surface of the membrane that opposes the first main surface. Moreover, the first height between the lid and the first main surface of the membrane is greater than a pitch of at least one pair of interleaved fingers of the plurality of interleaved fingers and at most four times greater than the second height.

  • Patent number: 11386058
Abstract: Provided herein are data cloud administration techniques that achieve autonomy by using a rules engine that reacts to a database system event by autonomously submitting an asynchronous job to reconfigure a database. In an embodiment, a rules engine receives an event from a DBMS. Based on the event, the rules engine executes a rule to generate a request that indicates configuration details for a database. The rules engine sends the request to a request broker. The request broker dispatches an asynchronous job based on the request. The asynchronous job configures the database based on the configuration details. Thus, databases in a cloud, data grid, or data center may be administered autonomously (without human intervention) base on dynamic conditions that are foreseen and unforeseen.

  • Patent number: 9934379
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media for detecting a compromised computing host are disclosed. According to one method, the method includes receiving one or more domain name system (DNS) non-existent domain (NX) messages associated with a computing host. The method also includes determining, using a host score associated with one or more unique DNS zones or domain names included in the one or more DNS NX messages, whether the computing host is compromised. The method further includes performing, in response to determining that the computing host is compromised, a mitigation action.

  • Patent number: 9877439
Abstract: This invention provides a method for irrigating an area by providing a fluid conduit coiled on a spool. The conduit includes a plurality of sprinkler ports disposed spaced apart along a length axis of the conduit. Each sprinkler port has an affixed connection structure operable to removably connect, removably quick-connect, or quick-deploy a riser, and a portion of that connection structure is disposed inside the hydraulic cross-section of the conduit. The method includes uncoiling a length of the conduit to dispose that uncoiled length of conduit as a line across the area to be irrigated. The uncoiled conduit may then be used to irrigate the area as desired. When finished, the length of conduit may be removed from the irrigation area by again coiling it onto a spool.

  • Patent number: 7741102
Abstract: The present invention relates to sensitive SE(R)RS based methods for detecting analytes such as explosives and drugs, which may be present in a sample at extremely low levels. The methods may be generally carried out in situ employing novel chemistry which is compatible with flow-cell technology and with time-scales and concentrations required for rapid and informative screening of large numbers of samples. The present invention also relates to novel compounds e.g. synthons and apparatus for use with the methods disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20070196637
Abstract: A composite material is provided in which certain properties, or combinations of properties, are improved relative to similar comparative composite materials. The composite material generally comprises a fiber reinforced thermoplastic core that includes a thermoplastic resin and discontinuous fibers dispersed within the thermoplastic resin. The fibers are particularly subject to certain conditions, namely a content of about 15 wt. % to about 65 wt. % of the thermoplastic core, a diameter of from about 17 ?m to about 22 ?m, and a length of from about 17 mm to about 25 mm.
