  • Publication number: 20240126552
Abstract: Processor-guided execution of offloaded instructions using fixed function operations is disclosed. Instructions designated for remote execution by a target device are received by a processor. Each instruction includes, as an operand, a target register in the target device. The target register may be an architected virtual register. For each of the plurality of instructions, the processor transmits an offload request in the order that the instructions are received. The offload request includes the instruction designated for remote execution. The target device may be, for example, a processing-in-memory device or an accelerator coupled to a memory.

  • Publication number: 20210396773
Abstract: A gripper assembly (20) includes a cylinder (22), a deformable gripping portion (210), a piston (24), and an ejector (260). The gripper assembly is suitable for picking and placing a vessel (10) by gripping a gripped portion (102) of the vessel. The gripping portion extends from adjacent an end of the cylinder. The gripping portion has a spring-like property that allows deformation as the vessel is engaged thereby holding the vessel. The piston is slidably disposed inside the cylinder. The ejector includes a head portion (270) adjacent a first end of the ejector and a plunger portion (26) adjacent a second end of the ejector. The head portion of the ejector is slidably disposed inside the cylinder separately from the piston. • Publication number: 20080307603
Abstract: An infeed device provides a configuration that improves the flow of particulate material into a double wash deck dedusting apparatus. The infeed device is formed with a circular inlet opening, an oval-shaped discharge opening and step sides interconnecting the inlet and discharge openings to prevent bridging in particulate material being fed through the infeed device onto the wash decks. The infeed device can be formed as a separate member that can be inserted into the infeed opening of existing dedusters. The oval-shaped discharge opening is substantially smaller transversely than the diameter of the inlet opening, but has a longitudinal length that is equal to the diameter of the inlet opening and equal to the longitudinal length of the wash decks. The joinder of the wash decks is blunted to eliminate a divider edge on which plastic streamers can hang up while being fed to the wash decks.

  • Publication number: 20060174072
Abstract: A system for acquiring information on the operation of an electronic control unit (ECU) includes a controller and a non-volatile memory. The controller is coupled to address and data buses of a central processing unit (CPU), which is located within an electronic control unit (ECU). The controller includes a register and/or a logging buffer for facilitating ECU analysis. The non-volatile memory is located within the ECU and is coupled to the address and data buses of the CPU. The register logs the current memory address of the non-volatile memory, when the controller determines the current memory address is a memory address of interest. The logging buffer logs the current memory address of the non-volatile memory each time the controller determines the current memory address is a memory address of interest.

  • Patent number: 5384140
Abstract: In a process for preparing a coated microwaveable meat which will be juicy and tender after microwave cooking, the meat is intimately contacted with an aqueous solution having a pH of 5.0-9.0 and a cation normality ratio of Na.sup.+ /K.sup.+ /Ca.sup.++ of 2-10/1-6/1-4, the contact continuing until the water gain in the meat is at least 8% of the initial weight of the meat. Thereafter a dry, powdery coating agent, including starch, protein and optional flavoring, is applied to the meat. During subsequent microwave cooking of the meat, the coating agent forms a starch-and-protein crosslinked continuous skin-like film which controls the heating rate and the microwave penetration depth so that microwave energy absorption is at least initially higher at the film than in the interior of the meat.
