Patent number: 11956251Abstract: An internet service provider (ISP) is configured to analyze data sent by a user to determine a subscriber account associated with the data and a user associated with the data. A database is then queried to determine the number of users of the subscriber account, with a number above a threshold indicating a likely theft of service. This automatic process is accompanied by automated messaging to the user with information as to the measures taken and remedial options. The messaging may be different dependent on whether the user is deemed to be an authorized user having subscriber account administration rights.Type: GrantFiled: January 24, 2023Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: PERFTECH, INC.Inventors: Jonathan E. Schmidt, John A. Murphy, Henry M. Donzis, Lewis T. Donzis, Peter W. Baron, Rodney D. Frey

Patent number: 11952019Abstract: A steering mechanism for a rail vehicle includes two steering arms, each including a pair of support arms that have a joining component with a recess. The two steering arms are articulated in a manner that maintains a minimum separation between the steering arms so that the arms can rotate relative to one another. The minimum separation is maintained by an insert that installs into the joining component recesses components of each of the steering arms. The insert has two sides, each side having a flexible material and forming a shape that mates with the recess. The insert provides resistance to the rotation between the first and second steering arms, and the resistance depends on the stiffness of the flexible material of the insert.Type: GrantFiled: January 24, 2022Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: ADVANCED TRUCK SYSTEMS CORP.Inventors: John Rudibaugh, Manuel Tavares, Wayne Murphy, Perry Levitt

Publication number: 20240065868Abstract: An implantable medical device system having at least two implantable medical devices coupled together with a connector while implanted at a common anatomical region. The connector allows the implantable medical devices to anchor one another in place at respective deployment sites. Moreover, the connector may function as a safety device by causing one implantable medical device to migrate upon migration of another implantable medical device. For instance, if migration of an implantable medical device causes a structural change in the common anatomical region, such change may be generally reversible upon migration of the other implantable medical device as a result of the implantable medical devices being coupled via the connector.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 30, 2023Publication date: February 29, 2024Applicant: BOSTON SCIENTIFIC SCIMED, INC.Inventors: Ryan Desmond Lynch, Fionn Stapleton, John O'Driscoll, Aran Murphy, Darren Gerard Curran, Emma Horgan
