  • Publication number: 20220237959
Abstract: There is provided a data tracking method and system for an aircraft having one or more engines. The method comprises reading, by a mobile device, at least one computer-readable label associated with at least one of one or more engine modules of the one or more engines and one or more Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) of at least one of the aircraft and the one or more engines to obtain label information having encoded therein at least one of engine module data uniquely identifying each engine module and LRU data uniquely identifying each LRU, extracting, on the mobile device, the at least one of the engine module data and the LRU data from the label information, and transmitting the at least one of the engine module data and the LRU data from the mobile device to a data transmission unit provided on-board the aircraft.

  • Patent number: 11086721
Abstract: Resolving software patch issues is provided. Recorded activities performed by users to resolve an issue with a patch applied to an application on a group of client devices are compared. A set of common user activities are identified within the recorded activities performed by the users. A subset of highest ranking common user activities is selected from the set of common user activities. A fix for the issue with the patch is generated based on the subset of highest ranking common user activities. Corrective action based on the fix is taken to resolve the issue with the patch on a client device, the client device experiencing the issue resolved by users on the group of client devices.

  • Patent number: 10861121
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a security document, including: providing a polymer substrate having first and second surfaces; and: applying an array of focussing elements to the first surface of the polymer substrate across a first region; forming an image array by: providing a die form having a surface including an arrangement of raised areas and recessed areas defining the pattern; applying a first curable material to the surface of the die form so it substantially fills the recessed areas; bringing a pattern support layer in contact with the surface of the die form so it covers the recessed areas; separating the pattern support layer from the surface of the die form so the first curable material in the recessed areas is removed from the recessed areas and retained on the pattern support layer; and at least partly curing the first curable material in one or more curing steps.

  • Patent number: 10831466
Abstract: Managing application changes is provided. Devices within a plurality of devices are grouped to form a set of devices based on configuration data corresponding to the devices. An application change is deployed to a subset of the set of devices in response to determining that the application change is available. Performance data corresponding to the application change is collected from the subset of devices over a predefined time period. The application change is deployed to a remainder of devices in the set of devices in response to the performance data indicating a positive application change to the subset of devices increasing a level of performance of the subset of devices greater than an increased performance threshold level.
