  • Patent number: 11680992
Abstract: A system for watering an electrolyte or lead acid battery in which the cumulative amount of water added during each filling event is determined by detecting the amount of water passing from a supply hose to the battery. A fluid dispensing member, such as a direct fill link or nozzle, can be attached to and detached from a single point watering subsystem. A flow detector, such as a flow meter, in fluid communication with the fluid dispensing member can wirelessly output the cumulative water added to specific batteries to an interactive computer application, which can include a wireless component such as a smartphone or tablet communicating with a remotely located interactive database.

Abstract: The disclosure generally pertains to systems and methods for providing a monitoring service for a pedestrian. In an example method, a request for activation of a monitoring service can be received. The request can include a present location and a destination. Upon receiving the request for activation of the monitoring service, a travel route can be determined from the present location to the destination. As a traveler travels along the travel route, each of one or more vehicles along the travel route may be activated. Each of the one or more vehicles can be configured to stream at least one video feed when the traveler is proximate to the each of the one or more vehicles. The monitoring service can be terminated when the traveler has reached the destination.

  • Publication number: 20230187861
Abstract: A dense, high-speed interconnection may be formed with a mating header and receptacle connector. The header connector may have groups of mating contact portions extending from the connector housing. Structural projections may extend from the housing adjacent some or all of the groups of mating contact portions. The groups of mating contact portions may be signal and ground mating contact portions associated with a signal pair. The groups may be arranged in an array and the structural projections may be arranged in an array intercalated with the array of the groups of mating contact portions. A receptacle connector may include an array of apertures configured to receive the structural projections. The structural projections may be shaped and positioned to reduce damage to the mating contact portions of the header connector, enable reliable manufacture, and to provide a high-density mating interface.

  • Patent number: 11674967
Abstract: A new, stable trimeric TNF? structure is disclosed with distorted symmetry which can bind to the TNFR1 receptor to attenuate signalling therefrom, which can be used in the treatment and/or prevention of diseases associated with the soluble TNF?/TNFR1 interaction. Membrane-bound TNF? is not affected in its ability to signal through TNFR2, and thus the new structure of TNF? may be used in therapies which do not significantly raise the risk of infection or malignancy.

  • Patent number: 11677760
Abstract: Techniques and mechanisms are disclosed for configuring actions to be performed by a network security application in response to the detection of potential security incidents, and for causing a network security application to report on the performance of those actions. For example, users may use such a network security application to configure one or more “modular alerts.” As used herein, a modular alert generally represents a component of a network security application which enables users to specify security modular alert actions to be performed in response to the detection of defined triggering conditions, and which further enables tracking information related to the performance of modular alert actions and reporting on the performance of those actions.

  • Publication number: 20230177900
Abstract: Upon obtaining biometric data for a user of a structure while the user is outside the structure, user data for the user is updated based on a confidence score for the biometric data exceeding a first confidence threshold. Based on the confidence score for the biometric data not exceeding the first confidence threshold, instructions are provided to the user to provide updated biometric data. Then the user data is updated based on a confidence score for the updated biometric data exceeding a second confidence threshold. The second confidence threshold is greater than the first confidence threshold. Structure components are controlled based on the updated user data.

The thrust array includes propulsion assemblies configured to transition the airframe from a forward flight orientation to a VTOL orientation at a conversion rate for an approach to a target ground location in a forward flight-to-VTOL transition phase. The flight control system implements an adaptive transition system including a transition parameter monitoring module configured to monitor parameters including a ground speed and a distance to the target ground location. The adaptive transition system includes a transition adjustment determination module configured to adjust the conversion rate of the airframe from the forward flight orientation to the VTOL orientation based on the ground speed and the distance to the target ground location such that the airframe is vertically aligned with the target ground location in the VTOL orientation of the forward flight-to-VTOL transition phase.

  • Publication number: 20230174017
Abstract: Upon authorizing a user via challenge biometric data, user data is determined to be updated based on detecting a trigger. Upon detecting the trigger prior to authenticating the user, the user data is updated with the challenge biometric data based on authenticating the user. Upon detecting the trigger after authenticating the user, the user data is updated with updated challenge biometric data based on a confidence score for the second biometric data exceeding a threshold. Structure components are controlled based on the updated user data.

  • Publication number: 20230174018
Abstract: A vehicle includes a powered door having an actuator to move the door between open and closed positions, a transceiver configured to communicate with one or more mobile devices, and an imaging device oriented to capture images in a region proximate to the powered door. A controller processes the captured images and controls the actuator to move the door to the open position when a mobile device is detected proximate the vehicle and a user is detected in the captured images located in a door detection zone. The controller moves the door to the open position when a face of a user is recognized as an authorized user located in the door detection zone. The controller moves the door to the open position when a gait of the user is detected and identifies the gait are indicative of an authorized user located in the door detection zone.

  • Patent number: 11671787
Abstract: A lighting management system includes communications circuitry, processing circuitry, and a memory. The memory stores instructions, which, when executed by the processing circuitry cause the lighting management system to receive a message from a lighting fixture via the communications circuitry, the message indicating a proximal presence of a detected mobile device to the lighting fixture, and performing one or more actions in response to receipt of the message. By performing the one or more actions upon receipt of the message as described above, a lighting system may be provided with additional functionality that enhances the lighting system.
