  • Patent number: 11266868
Abstract: A vibration apparatus and an associated motor assembly attached to a glove or wrap for a body part to stimulate muscle activity in the area of application. The apparatus is capable of generating vibrations of various amplitudes at the same frequency or within a defined frequency range. The device causes vibration in a limb to which it is attached, such that muscle that are not normally utilized in a single range of motion activity are activated. The mechanism creating the vibration may an eccentric rotating mass vibration motor assembly attached to a glove or wrist support. Use of the device with fitness equipment provides an individual with the benefits associated with vibrational motion such as increased muscle use with a single exercise motion and increased muscle memory during use with sports activities.

  • Patent number: 10800051
Abstract: A utility knife includes a housing with multiple interior spaces, each for holding a utility blade slidably therein. A U-shaped spring-clip has two ends rotationally fixed with the housing. A catch section of the spring clip traverses a retention slot formed in the housing. The spring clip may be pushed from an inward position into an outward position to allow the utility blade to pass from the interior space out through a slot to exit an end of the housing. When the spring clip is released with a retaining notch of the utility blade aligned with the retention slot, the retaining clip engages the retaining notch to capture the utility blade in a deployed position. Preferably the housing comprises several thin metal plates stacked together and fastened with a plurality of mechanical fasteners.

  • Patent number: 6533881
Abstract: Composite metal and plastic fencing includes a plurality of spaced apart fence posts and at least one fence rail member vertically supported on the fence posts and extending between the fence posts. The at least one fence rail member further includes at least one longitudinally extending fence wire, an adhesive layer adhered to the at least one fence wire and a layer of synthetic resin material adhered to the at least one fence wire by the adhesive layer. The layer of synthetic resin material encloses the at least one fence wire and may form at least one web extending between a plurality of spaced apart fence wires.

  • Publication number: 20010002411
Abstract: Shaped-medical devices, e.g. stents, having improved mechanical properties and structural integrity are disclosed. The devices comprise shaped polymeric hydrogels which are both tonically and non-ionically crosslinked and which exhibit improved structural integrity after selective removal of the crosslinking ions. Process for making such devices are also disclosed wherein an ionically crosslinkable polymer is both ionically and non-ionically crosslinked to form a shaped medical device. When implanted in the body, selective in-vivo stripping of the crosslinking ions produces a softer, more flexible implant having improved structural integrity.
