Abstract: Web-mounting fishing plug has a body with a slot or aperture into which a web can be inserted. The web, for example, a photo, postage stamp, or transparent colored sheet, may be inserted into the slot or aperture. A closure may attached to the body, which may cover the slot or aperture and protect the web from moisture. Provision for light-emission, coloration, pattern, an increase or decrease in mass, hence, density, movement, smell, sound, and so forth may be supplied. Hook(s) and/or other accessory(ies) may be attached. The invention can be provided in kit form so that the web of one's choosing, light, color, etc., may be employed with the plug.

The method and apparatus use a specially designed cooling plate which is contacted with a mask frame holding the screening mask. After a heated cleaning step which cleans the mask frame and screening mask of metal paste used in the screening operation, the cooling plate having one or more concave lower surfaces contacts the upper surfaces of the mask frame and bends the mask frame in the shape of the concave surfaces. This ensures intimate contact between the cooling plate and mask frame and enhances the thermal efficiency of the cooling step.

Abstract: A parity checking scheme for detecting memory array word line failures whereby all of the data and parity bits of a plurality of bytes sharing the same word line erroneously assume the value "1" or the value "0". When storing data in the array, the data and parity bits comprising each byte are stored directly except for the parity bit of a selected one of the bytes, which parity bit is inverted by a gated inverter circuit before storing. The same gated inverter circuit also inverts the parity bit of the selected byte upon reading the stored data. All of the remaining bits of all of the remaining bytes are read directly. The read bits of each byte are applied to a respective parity checking circuit of the same even or odd parity type as is used in storing the data. The outputs of all of the parity checking circuits are applied to error control logic.
