  • Patent number: 11564766
Abstract: A scrubs returns cabinet for a hospital allows workers to return surgical garment tops and bottoms. A cabinet housing has a loading door leading to a return port through which the customer places the soiled scrub suit after entering customer identification information. The scrubs fall into a collection area and are dispersed by a diverter into the collection area. Additionally, a compacting paddle compacts the accumulating scrubs to utilize more of the collection area and accommodate more dirty scrubs before the collection area needs to be emptied. The scrubs are compressed by the compactor after being dispersed by the diverter.

  • Publication number: 20220230503
Abstract: A dispenser for scrubs or other items is modular and can be configured with a desired number of cells for storing scrubs and dispensing them accordingly. The dispenser includes a main or primary bank of cells with each cell housing an inventory of multiple scrubs for dispensing. The main bank of cells may operate in a standalone manner to dispense scrubs, or additional banks can be added to the main bank for increased inventory capacity. The scrubs are stored in a vertical stack in each cell with the uppermost scrub in the cell being the next scrub in that cell to be dispensed. One or more pickers each translate along a gantry to be selectively positioned above one of the cells for picking to pull the uppermost scrub in the cell and elevate it out of the cell. Multiple pickers may operate simultaneously to pick and dispense multiple scrubs at the same time. Each cell includes a platform supporting the vertical stack of scrubs.

  • Publication number: 20170351844
Abstract: A system for determining relative operational performance in a clinical trial may include a processor, a data comparator and visualizer, and a graphical user interface. The processor filters received clinical data into multiple metric criteria to generate multiple metric data sets and filters each metric data set into a respective industry data set and a respective candidate data set. The processor then calculates statistical measures for each industry data set and candidate data set and transforms each industry data set and candidate data set based on each data set's respective statistical measures. The data comparator and visualizer compares each transformed candidate data set to the transformed industry data set for the respective metric criterion to determine a candidate percentile for each metric criterion. The graphical user interface displays the candidate percentiles for the metric criteria. A method for determining relative operational performance in a clinical trial is also described.
