  • Patent number: 11531438
Abstract: Touch sensor panels (or touch screens) can improve signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) using touch electrode patterns for differential drive and/or differential sense techniques. In some examples, a touch sensor panel can include a two-dimensional array of touch nodes formed from a plurality of touch electrodes. Each column (or row) of touch nodes can be driven with a plurality of drive signals. For example, a first column (or row) of touch nodes can be driven by a first drive signal applied to one or more first touch nodes in the first column (or row) and a second drive signal applied to a one or more second touch nodes of the first column (or row). In some examples, the first drive signal and the second drive signal can be complimentary drive signals. In some examples, each row (or column) of touch electrodes can be sensed by differential sense circuitry.

  • Patent number: 11526240
Abstract: An input device such as a stylus for providing input to a touch-sensitive surface with reduced sensitivity to leakage current variations over temperature is disclosed. A passive stylus may include one or more diodes in parallel with one or more bleed resistors. The non-linear load of the diode and resistor network can be operative to provide a stylus electric field in response to a stimulation signal from an electronic device that can be capacitively coupled to, and sensed by, the electronic device. The signal sensed by the electronic device can be a function of the total leakage current, which can vary greatly as a function of temperature and frequency. In order to improve performance, the diode and resistor network, including the bleed resistor(s) and diodes within that network, can be selected and/or designed to provide a reduced variation in the leakage current and more accurate stylus detection.

  • Publication number: 20220378826
Abstract: The present invention concerns a biomarker useful in adoptive cell therapy. The biomarker in question is CD150, otherwise termed SLAM or SLAMF1. Herein Applicants demonstrate that expression of CD150 on tumour infiltrating lymphocytes infusion products correlates with the response rate seen in those patients. High CD150 expression is found on patients who go on to have a complete response and low expression on patients who do not respond to therapy. The invention relates to the use of the biomarker to predict response rate or stratify patients for treatment. It also covers exploitation of this receptor in adoptive cell therapy regimens in general, including but not limited to over expression of the receptor in T-cell populations or isolation of cells expressing CD150 in an effort to increase efficacy.

  • Patent number: 11465402
Abstract: A photosensitive element, particularly a photopolymerizable printing form precursor; a method of preparing the photosensitive element to form a printing form for use in relief printing; and a process of making the photosensitive element are disclosed. The printing form precursor includes a layer of a photosensitive composition, a digital layer that is adjacent to a side of the photosensitive layer, and a cell pattern layer that is disposed between the photosensitive layer and the digital layer. The cell pattern layer includes a plurality of features, and is composed of an ink that is opaque to actinic radiation and transparent to infrared radiation. Since the cell pattern layer is integral with the printing form precursor, digital imaging can occur rapidly with relatively low resolution optics to form a mask without needing to also form a microcell pattern of the digital layer.

  • Patent number: 11449175
Abstract: In some examples, an input device includes a non-linear component, such as a diode. In response to a drive signal, such as a sinusoidal wave, the non-linear passive input device can produce a non-linear output that includes frequency content at the second and other higher harmonics of the fundamental frequency of the drive signal, for example. In some examples, drive electrodes can be driven with a drive signal having one of two fundamental frequencies such that the frequency of the drive signals are applied in an alternating pattern. The electronic device can sense the signal of the stylus to determine the coarse location of the stylus along the sense electrodes and, based on the frequency content of the received signal, a fine location along the axis of the drive electrodes.

  • Patent number: 11422807
Abstract: An apparatus and method of operating an apparatus are provided. The apparatus is responsive to a bit-testing instruction which specifies a source vector register and an index to perform a bit-testing procedure on plural elements stored in the source vector register to generate plural result bits. The bit-testing procedure comprises, for each processed element of the plural elements, setting a respective result bit of the plural result bits in dependence on a value of a tested bit at a bit position in the processed element of the source vector register indicated by the index. This bit-testing instruction thus enables increased performance of program code which is required to perform multiple bit tests and can be suitably formulated into a vectorised form.

Abstract: Examples of integrated semiconductor devices are described. In one example, an integrated device includes first and second transistors formed on a substrate, where the transistors share a terminal metal feature to reduce a size of the integrated device. The terminal metal feature can include a shared source electrode metalization, for example, although other electrode metalizations can be shared. In other aspects, a first width of a gate of the first transistor can be greater than a second width of a gate of the second transistor, and the shared metalization can taper from the first width to the second width. The integrated device can also include a metal ground plane on a backside of the substrate, and the terminal metal feature can also include an in-source via for the shared source electrode metalization. The in-source via can electrically couple the shared source electrode metalization to the metal ground plane.
