The circuit includes a plurality of transistors configured such that they generate a gate voltage that includes a threshold voltage as a component. The gate voltage is applied to a transistor to generate a current that is proportional to a process transconductance parameter. The current is applied to a comparator having a differential pair of transistors, wherein each transistor has a process transconductance parameter. The circuit takes the ratios of the process transconductance parameter associated with the current to that of each transistor of the differential pair. By ratioing the process transconductance parameters, temperature dependence is nullified or negated. The ratios can be used to set the hysteresis voltage of the comparator.

Abstract: Disclosed are process and apparatus for making high purity fused silica glass materials. The process involves depositing soot particles onto an essentially planar deposition supporting surface and modulation of motion of the soot-generating device relative to the deposition supporting surface to result in a low local soot density variation. The apparatus is designed to implement the planar deposition process. The invention makes it possible to produce fused silica glass without the use of potentially contaminating refractory bricks.

Magnet wires wound in slots in the lamination stack, the commutator and armature shaft are at least partially encapsulated in a first plastic, such as by insert molding. The commutator has a commutator ring divided into a plurality of segments with slots between the segments that are filled with a second plastic when the commutator is made by molding a core of the second plastic, such as phenolic, in the commutator ring before the commutator ring is mounted on the armature shaft. Where the commutator is a tang type commutator, the commutator ring has notches at axial ends of the slots which is filled with the second plastic when the second plastic is molded. The mold used to mold the first plastic includes projections that extend between the tangs of the commutator and against the notches at axial ends of the slots of the commuter.
