Publication number: 20250095261Abstract: The runtime retargeting approaches discussed herein can enable real time adaptation of character and object motion. In particular, fixed-source motion can be dynamically adjusted to variable situations encountered during runtime. In this way, the runtime retargeting approaches discussed herein can preserve the intent, visual quality, and essence of such fixed-source motion, while modifying it to meet new physical constraints or goals.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 13, 2024Publication date: March 20, 2025Inventors: Eray MOLLA, Peter James SANDILANDS, James Stuart MILLER, Ahmad ABDUL KARIM, Mark William TENNANT, Frank David KOZUH, Colin John GRAHAM

Patent number: 4221947Abstract: In a method of continuously heating wire by induction, a short circuit electrical connection between wire entering a loop or loops, constituting the secondary winding of a transformer, and wire leaving the loop or loops is effcted by guiding a portion of advancing wire on to one of two pulleys, arranged on opposite sides of the transformer core, and guiding a portion of the advancing wire off this pulley in such a way that the portions of wire cross, but are not intertwined with, one another to form the loop or loops. The advancing wire entering and leaving the loop or loops is maintained under such tension that the position in space of the crossover is substantially constant and that the cross portions of the advancing wire are in continuous physical contact, the contact pressure at the position of crossover being sufficient to disturb any electrically non-conductive layers on the wire to provide clean portions for electrical contact.Type: GrantFiled: March 10, 1978Date of Patent: September 9, 1980Assignee: BICC LimitedInventors: Zbigniew Bonikowski, Bruce H. Keen, Dennis M. Salamon, John A. Tennant

Patent number: 4023883Abstract: A connector for establishing electrical contact between two insulated conductors is disclosed. The connector employs a generally V-shaped member having multiple slots extending inwardly from one longitudinal edge of a metallic terminal member. Two slots on the terminal member penetrate the insulation and establish contact with the conductive core of each conductor. A rigid insulating housing anchors the terminal and provides a means for forcing the conductors into the slots. This V-shaped terminal configuration results in the generation of resilient stresses which lead to the establishment of a sufficient slot-type electrical contact with a conductor having a relatively large number of strands comprising its conductive core. This connector is also adapted for use with flat multi-conductor cable.Type: GrantFiled: May 8, 1975Date of Patent: May 17, 1977Assignee: AMP IncorporatedInventors: Henry James Raposa, Robert John Tennant

Patent number: 3960430Abstract: Power distribution system for building wiring comprises a flat three conductor cable which is mounted on a surface, such as a floor, and tap cables extending laterally to outlets, loads, and controls. The tap connections of the branch or tap cables are made with electrical connectors crimped onto conductors in the distribution cable and the brand cable. An improved crimp is disclosed for making these connections.Type: GrantFiled: October 29, 1974Date of Patent: June 1, 1976Assignee: AMP IncorporatedInventors: Edward Dennman Bunnell, James Earl Fleischhacker, Robert John Tennant
