Selected embodiments may also include a zero-tension connector with a sliding contact mounted within a cavity of a housing, a through-wire connected to the sliding contact. The novel endplate reduces the cost and complexity of manufacture and installation.

    Abstract: This specification describes membrane based filtration and softening systems and methods. A system has a microfiltration or ultrafiltration (MF/UF) membrane unit upstream of a nanofiltration or reverse osmosis (NF/RO) membrane unit, optionally with no intermediate tank. In some cases, the system and method may be used with feed water provided at municipal line pressure to the membranes. NF/RO permeate is collected in a tank and then pumped to a header. Treated water may be drawn from the header for use or recycled to the system, for example to backwash or flush one or both of the membrane units. In a combined process, NF/RO permeate flushes the feed side of the NF/RO unit and then backwashes the MF/UF unit. In another process, the MF/UF unit and NF/RO unit are filled with NF/RO permeate before being placed in a standby mode.

Embodiments receive a trained prediction demand model for the hotel, the trained prediction model including estimated coefficients, and receive a total inventory of hotel rooms for the hotel. Embodiments determine optimal Lagrangian coefficients from the estimated coefficients using a first iterative gradient search and determine optimized prices per customer based on the estimated coefficients and the optimal Lagrangian coefficients using a second iterative gradient search. Embodiments determine an offer order optimization per customer based on the optimal Lagrangian coefficients and using linear programming. Embodiments receive a request for a hotel room from a first customer, the request including one or more attributes. Based on the one or more attributes and the optimized prices per customer and the offer order optimization per customer, embodiments display an optimized ordered list of hotel room choices.

    Abstract: Implementations disclosed and claimed herein provide a wheel cover system. In one implementation, an inward force exerted against a wheel cover of the wheel cover assembly in an inward direction towards the hub is received. The inward force overcomes a spring bias of a spring of the receiver and translates the wheel cover assembly in the inward direction. A first rotational force rotating the wheel cover assembly in a first direction is received. The first post guides and engages the first hook, and the second post guides and engages the second hook during rotation. A first positive feedback is generated in response to the inward force and the first rotational force. The wheel cover assembly is releasably locked to the receiver by translating the wheel cover assembly in the outward direction using an outward force generated by the spring bias. The outward force provides a second positive feedback.
