  • Patent number: 9671281
Abstract: An imaging system includes an imager housing having a primary aperture defining an optical axis. A primary lens is disposed over the primary aperture. A first focal plane array (FPA) is within the imager housing. A second FPA is within the imager housing. A digital micro-mirror device (DMD) is angled with respect to the optical axis and optically coupled to the primary lens to selectively reflect light entering the primary aperture to at least one of the first FPA or the second FPA.
    Type: Grant

  • Publication number: 20160322671
Abstract: A battery pack includes a housing connected to a plurality of battery compartments. Each battery compartment configured to accept a battery therein. Each battery compartment has a first electrical contact positioned on a first end of the housing and a second electrical contact positioned on a second end, opposite the first end, of the housing. The electrical contacts are configured for electrical connection to respective ends of a respective battery. An outlet is coupled to the housing for supplying power from the electrical contacts. A printed circuit board is in communication with the electrical contacts configured to connect batteries to supply a predetermined voltage to the outlet when a positive end of each respective battery within the battery compartments is in electrical communication with the respective first electrical contact. The printed circuit board can be configured to dictate series or parallel connection of the electrical contacts.

  • Publication number: 20110244581
Abstract: An apparatus for and method of analyzing a biologic fluid sample is provided. The method includes the steps of: a) providing a sample cartridge having at least one channel for fluid sample passage; b) providing an analysis device having imaging hardware, a programmable analyzer, and a sample motion system, which sample motion system includes a bidirectional fluid actuator operable to selectively move a bolus of sample axially within the channel, and to cycle the bolus back and forth within the channel; and c) cycling the bolus of sample disposed within the channel at a predetermined frequency until constituents within the sample are substantially uniformly distributed, using the bidirectional fluid actuator.
