  • Patent number: 10589978
Abstract: A beverage dispensing valve includes a manifold that receives and dispense a first liquid and a second liquid. The manifold has a first flow channel through which the first liquid is conveyed and a second flow channel through which the second liquid is conveyed. A first shutoff assembly has a valve seal on a leg disposed in the first flow channel and a second shutoff assembly has a valve seal on a leg disposed in the second flow channel. A handle assembly is coupled to the first shutoff assembly and the second shutoff assembly and movement of the handle assembly simultaneously moves the leg of the first shutoff assembly and the leg of the second shutoff assembly into an open position such that the first liquid flows through the first flow channel, the second liquid flows through the second flow channel, and the first liquid and second liquid mix downstream to form a mixed beverage.

  • Patent number: 10579937
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for stream processing. One method includes receiving an event stream of first events by a first plurality of first local modelers of a stream processing system. Each local modeler processes a portion of received events of the event stream according to a first set of operations, the operations including aggregating information associated with each event to generate first aggregated information. A second plurality of second local modelers similarly generates second aggregated information from an event stream of second events. First and second local modelers provide, to a first central modeler, first and second aggregated information. A set of parameters of a respective machine learning model is determined by the first central modeler using the received aggregated information.

  • Publication number: 20200042169
Abstract: Touchscreen-enabled devices are provided to display images of either real or virtual environments, the devices having at least one user interface including a graphical overlay laid over the images for navigating the environments. The device can interpret gestures made by a single finger of the user on the touchscreen as commands to achieve intended maneuvers such as translations of the point of view and rotations of the point of view within the displayed environment. This allows for one-finger navigation of the environment. The elevational angle of the viewpoint may be tilted above or below horizontal as the viewpoint approaches topographical features within the displayed environment, and may return to horizontal after transitioning to a level surface.

  • Patent number: 10528060
Abstract: Systems and methods for stabilizing the steering and throttle of a radio-controlled (RC) vehicle are described herein. More specifically, sensors and circuitry are configured to control the wheel speed and wheel direction of a RC vehicle based on rotational information. In operation, one or more sensors may be configured to receive angular rotational information associated with a rotation of the RC vehicle. The rotational information may define a rotation of the RC vehicle around one or more axes of the RC vehicle. The circuitry may be configured to receive the angular rotation information associated with the rotation of the RC vehicle from the one or more sensors, and control a wheel speed and/or a wheel direction of at least one wheel of the RC vehicle based at least in part on (i) command data received from a controller associated with the RC vehicle and (ii) the received angular rotation information.

  • Patent number: 10482362
Abstract: Methods pertaining to encoding and decoding binary identifiers within a cell array are described. A binary identifier received by computing device can be encoded according to an encoding scheme. The cell array can include multiple encoded cells, each of which indicates a predetermined sequence of two or more bits, and which includes a perimeter, and both an alignment mark and a line pattern within the perimeter. The line pattern can be one of an empty-cell line pattern, a pattern including one or more asymmetrical radial vectors, one or more diametrical vectors, a symmetric cross, or a symmetrical star, or some other line pattern. The encoding scheme can define a plurality of cell colors that correspond to a predetermined sequence of two or more bits. The bits corresponding to a cell color can be redundant to bits corresponding to a line pattern for confirming accuracy of decoding a cell.
